Updates, upgrades, study capabilities, apps and experiences - this is what the past few months have looked like at Cardano.

Cardano's team appears to be pretty much on the right track with regards to their roadmap.

The Cardano developers identified a set of updates and made progress on the technical front of the project.

Charles Hoskinson, CEO of the IOHK Foundation, and in his latest broadcast told about the Cardano project and what he intends to do in the coming days, stating:

May is a big month for us.

We pass an enormous amount of internal testing.

Currently, more than 1,500 people are trained to post the code on the test network.

In this regard, Hoskinson stated:

“PLUTUS” integration works well with node… Teams work well.

We are where we want to be.

By the end of this month, a presentation on “Mithril” and the new “Hydra” prototype is expected.

"Mithril" is Cardano's light client protocol, which Hoskinson assured about it was a high priority for him, and told:

Light clients usually upgrade themselves to a full knot.

He added:

You can have a unified data feed from pool operators, you can have a central server, or you can develop encryption a bit and use more complex coding fundamentals.

IOHK CEO also drew attention to a $ 1.5 million budget increase to expand the prototypes of their OMEGA team.

According to the roadmap, the primary goal of the "Omega" version is to achieve an average of 1,000 transfers per second.

This will create a scalable web ecosystem and protect it from 51 percent attacks as well.

Hoskinson commented about this:

We are now leaders in the world of POS.

I think we are the most advanced of all the blocking protocols out there.

Hoskinson revealed that Cardano will increase his research commitment.

They are likely to invest around $ 9 million to set up specialized laboratories in the near future.

It is worth noting that the price of the digital currency Cardano ADA recorded several new highs recently, as the currency rose to more than $ 1.71 at the time of preparing this article, according to Coingecko.
