Rising Stars & M4L - Free Giveaway 138 🎁, and My Daily Progress

Hi Folks,

Thanks for dropping by and welcome to my blog. I am currently running a daily giveaway in one of my favorite NFT crypto game that is associated to Hive called Rising Stars. I am also a big fan of the Hive Tribe Music4Life. The tribe focuses on anything music related from songs, lyrics, instruments, opinions about music, and much much more.

In support of both Rising Stars and Music4Life I have created this daily giveaway which includes the following:

  • A chance to win a Rising Star NFT card (most daily giveaways are 6 common cards)
  • My upvote on your comment to this post that includes ~ 2 or more Vibes

That is a total of at least 42 cards a week up for grabs! With over 20 participants a day this has become a very popular event. It is one of the most active daily giveaways on Hive blockchain!

What a pleasant surprise as I leap a few spots in overall ranking today. With all that is going on in Splinterlands it feels great even playing Rising Stars. With that I added some more skill points bringing my overall total to +146k skills compare to a slightly lower 20k fans. It is worth reminder that one wants to minimize the earning of Ego when playing the game. The Ego once earned can never be removed. Hence avoid accumulating too many fans when you do not have a ton of skill points.

Take for example of my current Ego numbers:

Excluding the ego from fans which can be removed if I drop fans. However ego from missions is permanent. I have 8532 permanent ego on the back of completing 3404 missions.

That comes out to about 2.5 permanent ego for every mission I complete, not bad considering have withdraw a total of 1,007,000 Starbits earned in all those missions. On top today I made my 100th 10k Starbits special mission and earned 1,000,000 Starbits in total. Well just for all you to know all of those Starbits have been spent so I am mostly at 1,000,000 as base almost daily to stay qualified for the 10k Starbits mission. This was all done in around 8 months of game play and my initial investment of close to 500 Hives. If I remember correctly it was about 300 Hives to purchase my millionaire card and 200 Hives in Rising Star cards.

If anyone is interested I'll make a more in dept post of my progress in Rising Star. Let me know? Sorry went of on tangent but back to the focal point, please remember to limit your Ego as much as you can so that you earn more Starbits per mission. ;)

Well my ranking took a decent dive today but I guess it might be the people buying packs. Of course, I'll probably open my packs tomorrow so it should recover soon enough.

I don't think I put that much HIVE into it as I used my in-game earnings and some of the VIBES tokens I got.

Those are a lot of missions completed! Keep going! Reducing ego may be a big problem when completing many missions but you have huge skill. That's pretty nice because you don't have to be worried pretty much about ego with that amount of skill.

I know how it feels to have too high of an Ego. I started out in the game just like that, but found that earning skill points was not difficult once I focused on one instrument in music lesson and stacked specifically that type of instrument of cards. Anyone can do it and it is sort of like an untold strategy that all should use to advance further in the game. With out weight of skill points the Ego worries subsides.
