Črnec trail 2

Monday morning in Slovenska Bistrica. Perfect time to run in the Črnec forest again, just like the previous evening.

This time I broadened the loop, came out of the forest further to the northeast, and encountered this beast.

But let's start with the run.

Frest trails again, so beautiful in the morning sun when the shadows are still cast deep.

Aren't these trail gorgeous? There are so many of them you are never lost. Even when you don't know where you are.

Yellow marks show you the way here and there and everywhere. Why exactly marks like this one? You'll find out.

Because of this beasty. It's a huge fire lizard, probably wooden. I didn't dare to touch it.

The sculpture is an attraction by the Gams inn. They have tables in the deepest shade, a great children's playground, and delicious pizzas. So they told me, I didn't check. Next time.

Roaming around, passing by the beekeepers' society building, and by the dogs' training ground I find this info table. It's about Močeradova pot or The Fire Lizard's Path. Exactly, the yellow marks mark this path.

It really was a great early morning run after a good sleep. Now, it was time for a delicious breakfast. Then, I was ready to start the adventures of the day. These included 8a prelude for you) eating out twice (mushroom soup with žganci, pizza), and mountain biking in between.
