Don't let your mind trick you
I just finished a 4.669km running that lasted about 0hh:23mm:36ss !
The midweek runs are always hard on me. Not physically but mentally. I feel this is a barrier that I could not overcome during this month. A bit in August as well. The weekend runs are always easy as you don't have to worry about office, work and many other responsibilities. On the other hand, the weekdays runs are tough to manage. The time management is more challenging than the run.
Today's run was easy. I was not targeting a pace to beat. It was all spontaneous. My legs felt much fresh after two days of rest. Rest is necessary for the body. The pace was as usual but I tried to gain some speed after the first km or two. Nothing extra but trying to get that extra pace in between the run. It was the usual park route.
The weather was much nicer than before which invites a lot more runners in the park. I could not complete the strava running challenge I joined. That's not because I could not run but due to my inability to manage time.

Just getting out is an achievement. Sometimes you just need to run without looking at the times. Finding the time to run can be a challenge. My other half has been doing Couch25k, but since she went back to work it has been hard for her to keep it up.

Agree. Finding time is tough with a kid to look after.
I thought the strava challenge would force me to run regularly but it did not happen. Next time, next challenge.
I do various Strava challenges for fun, but I will not generally do extra running for them. I have my routine that works for me.
I tried to run extra this month but could not.😀
