Hello...
With this post, i want to share about this hotel that i stayed few months ago.
So, i went to Jakarta in the end of February 2021.
Since i went there to have a staycation by myself, of course i ned to stayed in a hotel.
As my holiday theme, which is staycation, i was looking for a place that will not makes me bored when i am just stay in hotel.
Other than the design, i was looking for a non big hotel so there will be not many people around which means its more safe for me.
Arent the design of the hotel is something that we really need to look for while booking for the hotel.
So, after days looking round in this and that website.
I have found this semi boutique hotel that have a rely interesting picture shown in the website.

The name of the hotel is Couleur Hotel Jakarta.
The hotel is located in Jl Lkr . Luar Barat no. 1 A, Duri Kosambi, Kecamatan Cengkareng, Kota Jakarta Barat, 11750.

In the first picture that i have shown here, it is how the hotel looks like from the outside.
As we can see the hotel have this unique outside wall design that make it looks like pyramid.
The color of the building from the outside is dominated with dark grey and light grey color.
Other than that, there’re many trees and plants right beside the building so the hotel looks vintage looking even more.

this is the clearer picture of what the space beside the building looks like.
The space is not really wide and just enough to have some plants but we need to pass them if we want to go to the front door or the lobby of the hotel.
So, for people that have luggage, we need to take carry our luggage a little bit for around 2 meters fto reach the door.

Here is what the lobby looks like.
In the wall, there’s a name of the hotel with hexagon symbols below it.
As we can see from the design of the outside look of the building, we can still feel the same vibe in the lobby.
It can be shown in the receptionist table and in the lobby wall.

After check in in the hotel, they will told us to go to our room with the stairs that located right in the right side of the lobby.
From the area, if we go to the right we will found the stairs and if we go to the left we will found their lounge and restaurant.

This is the stairs of the hotel, the stairs still follow the dark and vintage them look thats been going on since the stairs is a black one and it looks so good with the grey walls around it.
The stairs have some space between them.
Eventhough its like that, the stairs is pretty much safe even if we carry a lot of things because they give a wide stepping stairs.
I might need to inform that this hotel does not have a lift at all and we need to take the stairs to go up.
So for people that have problem with this really need to think about it before decide to booking in this hotel or not.
I personally love stairs and even more prefer using stairs rather than lift so this is a perfect place for me.
For people hat carry luggage, the worker will carry our things right to in front of our room.

This is how the room be styled.

My room is in the second floor and in each room there’s a some space that loos like a living space for people to sit and hang out there with some pretty design too.
I think this is gonna be a cute space to make some pose and take a picture.
Sadly, since i am alone i just dont really feel to take a picture especially in a public space.

The price of the room is $ 19,8 or Rp 289.000 .

Hello @firayumni, that is one beautifully designed boutique hotel. I like the consistency of the geometric pattern throughout the interior. Judging from the photo it's a 4-story building? Yes, a lift should have been incorporated. Welcome to Architecture+Design Community!

Hello @discoveringarni , ah my english is still limited and when i write this post i kept thinking what is the right word to express the design, now i know its geometric. Thank you 🙏. Yes its a 4 story building, not for people that have a lot of luggage and doesnt like stairs. However people like me like this "open stairs" very much since in most hotel, the stairs is hidden away and its scary (and awkward) to walk on them alone.

Yes I agree, to have the stairs accessible and open is more ideal. It also creates a light well as well (my last words sounded redundant lol). Have a lovely day!

Greetings @firayumni! Boutique hotels are truly beautiful in their own right, and in my experience, you get more personalized service from these types of hospitality establishments. I love what the architects did with the triangulated claddings on the building facade as it's a simple but clever way to improve its exterior aesthetics. Were you able to capture more photos of the hotel room interior?

A warm welcome to the Architecture+Design Community, and thank you for choosing us as your preferred community for your first architectural post!

Greetings @storiesoferne thank you for coming. Sadly, i have a bad habit that once i went to my room, i became a fool that know nothing but resting so i forgot to take picture even till the end of my stay, but i learn the lesson that i can actually share it with this community so the next time i went somewhere, i will not forget. Thank you for your comment it makes me remember that.
