Creative Architectural Piece ~ Talent And Passion Driven

It's funny but it seems the spirit of creativity runs in the family.
My parents watched us growing and maturing and learning to do creative things with our hands and by ourselves without being taught.
My dad exceptionally thought one of us will take after him in doing civil engineering, building, and making/molding things.
He watched me and my immediate brother destroy things, especially faulty or broken devices and appliances and fix them back together to function properly without having to call someone to repair them or repairing them himself since he is capable of doing such.

All his thought was that either of us will grow up to be a civil engineer and the other an electrical or mechanical engineer.
But the truth is as we grew up, we let go of most of those things and found ourselves venturing into other things and fields except for my elder sister who eventually went in to study that in school.

To my dad, he thought since I and my immediate brother lost interest in architectural design and building and no more aspiring to study it in school that it was over for any of the offspring becoming one or even looking into that field but surprisingly for him, our last born came along, a very quiet and reverse one but appears smarter than what he looks like.
He started building a house at a very tender. When he made his first carton building of a bungalow, he was just 7years old.
We all came back one evening from our respective work and businesses and he brought his creation and presented it to everyone.
It was stunning and we couldn't help but be shocked, we had to ask him who made it and he said he was the one that made it, we asked him how and where he learned it but he said he didn't learn it anywhere, that he only wanted to try something and see if he could be able to make anything with carton and turns out he made a nice small house, so sorry I don't have a picture of it now to share but it was really nice

They weren't taught such in their nursery school and this is the more reason why we had to ask where he got it or learned from.
We all appreciated the creative gift he was blessed with. And from then he has been building things with cartons since he isn't yet to the standard of building with bricks, that would need proper grooming to get to that stage with proper education.

And funny enough he has no architectural or building plans for all the houses he makes, it's all from pure imaginations and what he thinks of.
Most times I see him lost in thought and when I ask him what he is thinking of, he will tell me I am thinking of the design and pattern of the house I want to build I always laugh at him or laugh at it off but at the end of the day, he will come out with it.

Now my kid brother is 10years old and the passion to design and build houses is still running in his veins, he built a mud house just about a month ago which settled in our backyard for a few days before my mom asked it to be demolished.

My brother knows and knew what he wanted to do and where he is heading to and which field, so he told my dad about it, and my dad enrolled him in one of the schools here that are mainly for those aspiring to become architects and engineers.
School majorly for technical and architectural students. He is just in JS 1 (Junior Secondary one)

This building process is one of his works.
He was excited when I told him I was going to share his works here on hive.
He truly loves it when people appreciate his works

Sometimes he makes mistakes when building since he is yet to have the basic knowledge and also he doesn't have the plan and measurement. When my dad realized it, he had to call him one day and told him that building entails a lot more than just cutting papers and beginning the work and that is a lot more than just tilling the ground and laying bricks and foundation.
He taught him how to make a plan for a given house he wants to build and how to do some measurement before he even starts building.

My brother put everything my dad said and told him into practice.
The next day I saw him drawing and doing some measurements lol, it was funny but it was a great thing to know how serious and passionate he was about what he was doing.

I always seem to like the start of his work more than the finishing part, I don't know why hahaha. I took a different shot of the starting, then I took of the finishing.

And this is the background shot of the house. He had to use the inner part of the carton since the other side was colored with different writings on it.

I left the house when he started making this particular house and I came back home to meet him almost finishing and rounding up the work.

Though this isn't really the completion because he said he would add a little more pillar and then a rooftop.

This is another shot of the starting of the building.
I like each shot of the beginning.

My mom is already complaining of littered papers and cartoon pieces in his room because of this hahaha. Every time he is given extra change, he spends it on gum to use and build houses and cars using papers.

He has even started monetizing some of his works.
Some of his peer groups around our neighborhood seem to like what he does and some of them buy the toys he makes with cartons for their children.

I am really very happy for my kid bro and I really pray that his dreams will become a reality someday and he will become great in his field of work.
Do tell me what you think of my brother's architectural creation and I will surely let him know about the feedback you all gave here.
Thank you for stopping by and engaging my blog.
