Emmanuel's Court ~ Heavenly Building, Don't you think?

IMG_20210401_110401_841~2.jpg

I got a call from a friend that I haven't seen physically for a long while since after high school. And the sad thing and reason for that is that she relocated and we didn't keep in touch again couple with losing her phone and mobile contacts.
So when she finally got my mobile contact again, she put a call through and decided we see.
It's been a while and so why not? I agreed to see her.

She gave me the location and directed me on how to get there.
I boarded a transit and stopped at the very location she told me and followed every instruction and direction she gave me.
I walked down the street heading to her house, along the streets, I sited a very stunning and lovely building ahead. I have always heard about this location with stunning architectural buildings, I mean Shelter Afrik located in Akwa Ibom State, Uyo, Nigeria.

At first, I thought it would be a church or perhaps a hotel or someone's house but surprisingly it was none of those, yes it turns out to be a court. Really?
Come to even think of it, I didn't know such a court existed, and without a visit to my friend's, I wouldn't have known it anytime soon either.

There is a roundabout at the center of the street and one of those streets led to my friend's house.
But before going to where I was headed, I had to take a few shots of the structures.

The statue situated at the center close to the building looks great too, doesn't it?
It's a design of three umbrellas molded in a way that each is hung over the other.

One thing I observed about this location is the high speed of vehicles, I was almost knocked down by one guy with a corolla, not that I was careless trying to cross, no I wasn't but the car drove as if it wanna push me off the pedestrian path into the nearby bush.
It's not funny at all, I think this should be highly taken care of by building road bumps or putting up slow down road signs to help car owners slow down a bit when driving.

This is Dr. Godwill Akpabio's Crescent. The former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Uyo. If you zoom in on the image a bit, you will see his name written on the signboard

I like the structure and design they chose for the fencing of the house. I mean inserting those pillars in the fencing looks rather too good for a fence. Don't you agree?.
I wonder how many days it took them for the completion of this building.

I like the simple but eloquent design they used for this building, this is a little of the back view and front view of the building, you can see the gate or entrance a little from here. I had to go closer to the building to take this shot.

I am certain about the thorough cleaning of this environment cause the whole place appeared very clean and sparkling.

The cars also look like it just came out of the carwash lol, and the green grasses too look perfect for a lovely building painted white.

The house is without zinc, just plain bricks, and a really nice rooftop. There is a cool side to the house if one wants to receive fresh air from nature. This is why I really considered this to be someone's house and not really a court.

The frontage is floored with concrete and some molded in distinctive shapes and colors.

Have you observed the lightning on the ground floor? Probably this lights up at night and I can only imagine what this place will look like at night when all those lightning lights up.

IMG_20210401_113112_603~2.jpg

Why do you think most lights are fixed and connected on the ground? Why not just on the walls of the building? Or the fence?

Thinking about this name again Emmanuel's Court something slipped into my mind.
With Emmanuel meaning God With Us does it mean that God is with this court or that any case presented in the court, that God is with the accusers, victims, and every other person involved? 🤔🧐

You don't really have to mind me, it's just a pretty lame thought I guess.
I wanted to feed my curiosity and ask around but turns out I forgot about it when I later arrived at my friend's place and until I left her house I didn't remember again.

The building is quite close to a big bush and I can't help but wonder if it's safe here at night? Well, I think it will be since it's an estate and I know real estate has good security and cameras to watch and monitor every movement.
More reasons why there are lots of lightning everywhere around the house and building.

The concrete on the floor is in two colors, grey, and black color. It's a kind of a design. And I see this type of design often in real estate and hotels mostly.
This one was designed in a rectangular shape. I have seen the circular pattern before and even the triangular pattern.

I really like how these trees are planted around the building. It's an idea I have for my house. I really love natural vegetation and I really wouldn't mind having something similar when I have a house of my own.

Close click on the trees, do you know what this tree is called? We have a handful of it here in my country but sad that I still don't know what it is called.😔

I am so really glad I accepted the invitation to my friend's place cause it's because of her invitation, I got to see all these lovely buildings for myself and when I say buildings I mean I saw a handful of them which I will be very much glad to share them with you guys one after the other.

Yes of course she took me on a tour around their neighborhood and telling me different side stories to all the buildings in the estate.
I hope you stick around as I will share them from time to time.

For now, let's say I gave you a little insight about one of the landmarks of Uyo, Akwa Ibom with heavenly architectural buildings. And I hope to bring more if you wouldn't mind.
Thank you for going through this with me.
I really appreciate your time spent on this post.

They are all perfectly shot!. The building is indeed heavenly.

If you can put in the effort and believe in yourself. You can own one that’s way better 😊
