Is high ticket sales really the way to start your online Marketing journey?

Should You Start Out Trying To Sell Hight Ticket Items.jpg

There are so many options online for affiliate products that range from a few dollars to several thousands of dollars. Where is the right place for you to start out?

First I want to make sure you understand a few things. Building several monthly membership sales in a program will make you commissions every month and the more people you can get in your downline the more you will make monthly. Making high ticket sales you need to always be making those one time sales, even though the commission will be large you still need to keep making sales to keep money coming in.

In the video I talk about the $2.74 lesson in Click Track Profit that explains how you need to learn to Make $2.74 a day before you can make $27.40 a day and scale that up to $274.00 a day. If you follow this lesson it makes perfect sense to learn how to sell ever green products before attempting to sell high ticket items.

If you can't sell a product that costs $10.00 then what makes you think it will be easier to make money selling $1000.00 products? Yes you don't have to sell near as much to make fairly good money but with the times we are in right now how many people are willing to pay thousands of dollars?

There are programs that say they will close the sales for you, all you have to do is drive traffic to your link. This is all well and fine but to me you should learn the craft yourself and not rely on someone else to make the sales for you. What happens if they or their program isn't around anymore to close your sales for you?

Bottom line it is your money and your choice on what you do, that is the beauty of owning your own business, you get to do what you want. But my advice is to learn how to sell lower priced products before you attempt high ticket items. You can fair pretty well growing downlines in sites that offer a monthly membership fee that is affordable. Before you know it you have a nice monthly income.

Thanks Erik, I have seen so many people spend a ton of money and get frustrated and quit because they can't make high ticket sales. Unless you are already in sales off line then you want to start off small and scale up learning along the way.

I saw this the other day and thought it was a fantastic post, Mike.

So many people fall into the "make a ton of money per sale" mentality because they want to earn that much.

It's understandable wanting to earn that much. However, without already having the clout, reach, mailing list, resources, and connections that the top sellers have, it's hard to compete.

During the gold rush it was the folks who sold mining gear who made the most. Being reading to sell 'evergreen products' like auto responders, training, etc. at a lower price point for recurring commissions will eventually add up to the big ticket prices. Along the way you learned the art of selling.

Seems like a 'no brainer' to me.
