You are taking a new initiative or invest your money in something. You are excited to see a higher return. How about risk? How much risk are you taking?
If you overlook the risk and only focus on the higher rate of return, that can be a bad decision. You cannot avoid the risk, what you can do is to minimize the risk. When you invest in something, you have to analyze the risk and rewards. If the return or reward is lower than the risk, you should avoid that. Quite agree with you. Before taking certain risks all factors have to be thoroughly considered. It should also be a calculated risk not one just taking out of sentiment. The ROI should be worth if we must take more challenging risk.
