I am going to tell you a wonderful anecdote that I experienced last week and it has me very happy. In my apartment I have only one plant and it's an aloe plant, it's called Solidaridad. It was in a pot of Mavesa margarine when it was given to me as a gift, it grew a little and I had to transplant it; I designed a pot for it and I baptized it with that name, (soon I will make a post to show you the process).

I no longer live in that apartment, I only go there every fifteen days or when I can; according to the biosecurity norms due to the pandemic and the 7+7 plus system, (one week is radical quarantine and the next is flexible) of my country Venezuela.

For this reason, Solidaridad, which was mounted on the balcony fence, received a lot of sun and little water because I almost could not go so often; for the reasons I mentioned before, which resulted in the drying and withering of its leaves, every time I went I got it drier.

That situation distressed me, and worried me every time I went; but I did nothing about it. So much so that the plant was drying up for me, I had children which because they did not receive water periodically got sunburned and ended up drying up. Until one day instead of "worrying, I got BUSY" and came up with the brilliant idea of leaving a bottle of water for them.

I remembered that some time ago at a friend's house I saw that he, to all his plants had some plastic containers filled with water embedded in the soil, I asked him and he explained that with that process they themselves absorb the amount of water they need, they work like a teapot and it is not necessary for us to water them.

The first thing I did was to look for a place where she would not be exposed to so much sun, ☀️ so I moved her for the bathroom window, then I looked for a container according to the size of the pot, I put a lid with click or easy open to dose the water💦 and she could do the job while I was out. So that she could take care of herself while I came back.

So effective was the treatment that other maticas grew around it, I am happy because the only living thing in my apartment is breathing and full of energy. True to its name, Solidaridad is more alive than ever because of the love and care I gave it that afternoon before I left.

This also invites me to reflect on the word, the name she bears gave her the strength to stay alive, to be my companion and to wait for me every time I visit her. I can also demonstrate that there must be a balance between what you think, what you say and what you do; because thanks to that triad and that strength in thought was that I was able to rescue Solidaridad. Love can do everything, in this infinite universe everything is energy and energy is not lost it is transformed**.

Les voy a contar una maravillosa anécdota que viví la semana pasada y me tiene muy contenta. En mi apartamento tengo una sola planta y es de sábila, se llama Solidaridad. Ella estaba en un pote de margarina Mavesa cuando me la regalaron, creció un poco y la tuve que transplantar; le diseñé un pote y la bauticé con ese nombre, (proximamente les haré un post para mostrarle el proceso).

Ya no vivo en ese apartamento, solo voy cada quince días o cuando se puede; según las normas de bioseguridad por la pandemia y el sistema 7+7 plus, (una semana es cuarentena radical y la siguiente es flexible) de mi país Venezuela.

Por tal razón, Solidaridad que estaba montada en la reja del balcón, recibía mucho sol y poca agua porque yo casi no podía ir con tanta frecuencia; por las razones que mencioné antes, lo que trajo como consecuencia que se le iban secando y marchitando sus hojas, cada vez que yo iba la conseguía más seca.

Esa situación me angustiaba, y me preocupaba cada vez que iba; pero no hacía nada al respecto. Tanto así que la planta se me estaba secando, tenía hijos los cuales por no recibir agua periódicamente se quemaron con el sol y terminaron secándose. Hasta que un día en vez de "preocuparme, me OCUPÉ" y se me ocurrió la genial idea de dejarle un tetero o biberón de agua.

Recordé que hace tiempo en casa de un amigo vi que él, a todas sus plantas les tenía unos envases plásticos llenos de agua incrustados en la tierra, le pregunté y me explicó que con ese proceso ellas mismas absorben la cantidad de agua que necesitan, que funcionan como un tetero y no es necesario que nosotros las reguemos.

Lo primero que hice fue buscar un lugar donde no quedara expuesta a tanto sol, ☀️ así que la moví para la ventana del baño, luego busqué un recipiente acorde al tamaño del pote, le puse una tapa con click o abre fácil para dosificar el agua💦 y pudiera hacer el trabajo mientras yo estuviera fuera. De tal manera que ella solita se pudiera cuidar mientras yo regresara.

Fue tan efectivo el tratamiento que crecieron otras maticas alrededor, estoy feliz porque el único ser vivo que está en mi apartamento respira y está lleno de energía. Haciéndole honor a su nombre, Solidaridad está más viva que nunca producto del amor y el cuidado que le di aquella tarde antes de partir.

Esto también me invita a reflexionar sobre la palabra, el nombre que lleva le dio la fortaleza para seguir con vida, ser mi compañera y esperarme cada vez que la visito. Además puedo demostrar que debe existir un equilibrio entre lo que se piensa, lo que se dice y lo que se hace; porque gracias a esa tríada y esa fortaleza en el pensamiento fue que pude rescatar a Solidaridad. El amor todo lo puede, en este infinito universo todo es energía y la energía no se pierde se transforma.
