8000000 stabs and so many more to go.
It's been a while since I've done any needle felting. For those not familiar, it's taking small fluffs of wool and stabbing it about a bazillion times with specialized needles. You stab and stab until it takes on the desired shape. My photo is a small project. There are people that make dolls, portraits, and more. I am not yet at that level. Maybe someday. The basic shape of this started in a foam rubber? mold. Any extra detailing work was done afterward.
It's a fun and relaxing hobby and not too expensive to get into.
The pumpkin was an earlier project that was done free hand. All totaled, it took about 2 hours of stabbing. Did I mention, it's therapeutic
