Don't Try to Change the Rules, Change the Game!

Here, on Liotes, we are trying to NOT shill our token too much... I mean, we are publishing our weekly reports, explaining details how everything works and what are we planning to do in the future... Also, discussing with the community about the ideas for the token, but we try to no FORCE you in buying our token... We just want to provide information about it, and you should make your decision is it something that suits your need, or not...

So, we have decided to throw out here and there some of our personal thoughts about certain aspects of investing or just living... We are not hiding behind some anonymous accounts, but try to do the opposite... To show our personalities and we would like that you show us yours... In the end, if you look closer/deeper at the project you will notice that it's more like a "community" project and not just a ONE-SIDE business...

In this video, I (Zoltan) have "vlogged" about the ventures that I had in my past... How was my thinking when I started my first business, what were my goals and dreams... I had more than 1 business in my life, so I had time to "grow" and think about the mistakes that I have made, and how could I do things better the next time...

As I have mentioned in some of my previous videos, I was hesitating to start another business for a "long" time, but sooner or later, it had to happen... Why I was hesitating that much? Was I too scared to start a new business? Or maybe bored with so many failures?

The main problem was in my head... I was thought whole my life one thing...

You have to play by the rules

Actually, that's not a bad premise and it thought me one important thing, and that's FAIR-PLAY... Don't cheat, play by the rules...

But, there is another aspect of that sentence that you weren't thought when you were a child... Nobody told you that the game can be RIGGED... That's something that you learn through life, by trying to win the rigged game... and of course, failing and failing...

Okay, so I got that in a certain time and that's it... It's not a big deal... But... There is more... There is something that goes even further than the acknowledgment that the game is rigged!

There is no sense in trying to change the rules of the rigged game, but we CAN CHANGE THE GAME!

Yeah, I have noticed that the sea was too wild AFTER the recording... :) Actually, I didn't use any filters on my video, as my editing skills are very poor... I would try to avoid recording by the sea :)

Was searching for some good mobile microphone, but still didn't buy any...

Ah ok! Well then you could have done something about the noise but not much since the sounds of waves clashing is just really hard to filter. Audacity has a free noise reduction plugin and the software is also free :) for the next time.

Your perspective on this (business wise & personal wise) really gave me food for thought....when we try to change the rules, we hit resistance, which sets us up for failure (even if we have short term success). It leads to frustration & then, down the rabbit hole we go with all the insecurities, etc that come out...

But, when we change the game, we can empower ourselves & those around us. We can look at things differently & pave a better way to do things that works for us. It is truly amazing how we can truly shift our perspective & up the game if we allow ourselves to....

That is why I really like @liotes & what it stands for. You are being transparent with what your mission is & WHO you are....in turn, it makes the community feel more inclined to express authenticity. We know we ALL matter & the game ISN'T rigged ;)

It's all about the perspective and probably looking into the past, our actions, and what have we done wrong... Sometimes it wasn't wrong at all... Actually, I think that I didn't make a mistake with any of my approaches... The only thing that I didn't know (and wasn't expect) is that the game was rigged from the beginning...

You are right - sometimes it wasn't wrong because we meant to do the right thing with the knowledge that we had at that time. That's where giving ourselves grace is important & when we learn from that & change, we have changed the whole game in our lives ;)

I agree that sometimes we just need a different perspective. We aren't told in school that we should save and invest. We also aren't told about how taxes work either. So sometimes we just need a change of perspective and it works better than you would think it would. Thanks for the personal story about your businesses and how you changed for the better.

You nailed it with this! We weren't taught those things, but in some weird way, they taught us to follow the herd and do whatever others are doing... It's kind of killing the creativity, authenticity, and uniqueness...

But, maybe that's just a "normal way" of learning by experience...
