Bus and Blues. CCC's Street Art Contest #128

I am very pleased to write to you and participate again in an edition of CCC`s Street Art Contest that @digi-me organizes every week.

Last Christmas, during the two weeks that I have been visiting my mother in the town where I grew up, I have been visiting places that I have a special affection for because they bring back great memories.

One of the visits I made was to the village of Navia. The truth be told, I usually visit this town at least once a month to go shopping with my mother or to visit some relatives I have in that town. However, on this occasion I was walking towards the beach and I came across an old pub called Bus and Blues which is now closed.

This pub, dating back to the early 2000's, was an aesthetically groundbreaking pub with a small brown and white bus inside, similar to the one that is graffitied on one of the side walls of the pub.

As a music pub, concerts were held there every weekend by different Asturian rock and blues groups. For this reason, on another of the exterior walls of the premises there are drawings of various musical notes.

As for the location of the bar and, therefore, of the mural, it is Avenida del Pardo, 12 in Navia. As a result, it is very close to the Pardo sports complex, where several of the works I have presented to you in previous weeks are located and which I bring back to you as a reminder.

As for the authors of the mural, it is signed by Ausia of whom I have not found any conclusive information on the internet, so I cannot indicate any additional information in this case.

I hope you like this week's entry. I was comforted to have passed by the vicinity of this place where I have lived great moments inside enjoying very good music.
