Beer Tasting: Löwenbräu Lager and Wiener Lager

How's going? Are you ready for a long, hot, and humid summer? I am.
I'll fight this weather with a cold beer as possible. Today too :)

Löwenbräu Lager

Brewed by Borsodi Sörgyár (Molson Coors), Bőcs, Hungary. Can, 0.5 l, alcohol 4% ABV. Well, that's an industrial lager from a commercial brewery.

Light yellow in color, the foam disappears quickly. I drank it fast, it was cold, but that's all. You know you're drinking beer but I can't say anything more specific because there's nothing to say.
Do you know what you can expect from an industrial lager? Nothing.
Well, I could just mention that it didn't have that metallic taste that low-budget industrial lagers have. But, it was hot, the beer was chilled and on the table. I had to try it :)

Wiener Lager

Brewed by Privatbrauerei und Mineralbrunnenbetrieb H. Egerer, Pilsting, Germany. Can, 0.5 l, alcohol 5.1% ABV. Another chilled lager on the table, hopefully better than the last one.

Dark yellow in color, the foam is some but does not stand for long. In the first sip, I taste the bitterness of the hops but not too pronounced, a discreet roasted malt flavor and the sweetness of the barley. It all disappears quickly from the mouth.
Well, the beer was cold and I think it tastes better than the previous one.

But I wouldn't have any in the fridge because both beers are nothing special. Better luck next time :(
