Observe yourself!

Last week, I wrote about gratitude every day on three different fronts, including my own. If you do this daily for a period of time, you can trace yourself. And eventually find yourself. This is actually the easiest way to watch yourself. We often can't do it during the day, because external factors will always be stronger if you're not prepared. But besides taking notes, there's another good trick that works!

Just set an alarm for every hour of your day when you are awake. And when the alarm rings, just distract yourself for one minute and ask yourself a few questions.

Where am I? What am I feeling? What am I doing? Do I like what's going on or what am I doing right now?

It only takes one minute an hour. But if you answer yourself sincerely, you'll be very surprised at the results. Maybe it will motivate or energize someone. Or maybe it will change your life. But that's just self-observation, which we almost always neglect...

Today is the seventh round of my giveaway gratitude, and I'm glad so many people supported the idea and participated in my act of gratitude and gratuitous giving. I will be giving away 5 HSBI + 1 this week and beyond. Another HSBI I will be giving away as a token of my appreciation for various things. It can be a sincere comment or just a contribution to Hive life. Perhaps it will be advice to me or to the community. Or it might even be the bitter truth spoken to my (and only me!) face! In fact, I don't really know what or who will inspire me yet, myself. But from this day forward, I will be giving my thanks to one more participant on my own behalf! I think it will be interesting! So let's get started!

Goal

As I wrote in the first post Giveaway of Gratitude. 5 HSBI. CLOSED!, I give every day and want to take it to Hive! The purpose of this next giveaway is to give back to Hive and its members my share of appreciation and love! This is a gratuitous giveaway. That is, if the payout for this post is 5.01 Hive, I will give away 6 HSBI! The only thing I get is your love and part of the Hive SBI (that's how HSBI works).

What is HSBI

HSBI is a social experiment that has grown into something bigger. I have read many posts and other information about it. In my opinion, it is worthy of both Hive and this world in general! If you don't already know what HSBI (Hive SBI) is, read this post: Hive SBI

Why am I leaning specifically toward HSBI? Because this value that I give away also stays at Hive. It also shows my love for this blockchain and everyone involved!

Rules

  1. Leave a comment below the post.
  2. Wait 7 days from the time the post is published.
  3. Bots and multi-accounts are not participating and will be tracked manually by me. That's what the 7 days are for.

I've been observing people all my life, it's been a hobby of mine since I was a kid. It eventually paid off for me, but I still often made mistakes and failed to see the obvious at very important times in my life. Playing this tape over and over, I realized that I had missed the most important thing. It is more important to observe oneself, not others. Only by coming to yourself can you jump over any wall in any aspect of life. If you don't find yourself, it is useless to look for other things or other people. No one and nothing will help you, for no one can know you more than you know yourself.

Hello, first of all thank you very much for the award.
You know, I hadn't really read the contest, and I realized that many times we act automatically.
Indeed, asking yourself questions, about how I am, how I feel, what feelings I have at this moment, are very interesting processes, as they help us to be in the here and now.
And if there is something I am sure of, it is that when we are in the here and now, our ego loses strength and does not control us and therefore we are not in automatic.
This, together with daily meditation processes, helps us to grow in our level of consciousness.
I actually do the latter, I do not dedicate the time I want, but I am trying to meditate daily at least 20 minutes a day.
I am also doing my best to not act automatically and try to be in the here and now permanently, which is not easy, but not impossible.

I still run through a gratitude list at night before I go to sleep at times. I should do it every night but sometimes, when things are going well, I forget to.

Silly of me. That's when we should be most grateful. Yet, somehow, we forget.
