Celebrating The Attainment Of A New Age

Birthday comes once a month and this month, I have decided to celebrate you in a grand style.

It's been six years since I came in contact with you and ever since then, I must say you were indeed a blessing to me and my family. No wonder they say, a friend in need is a friend indeed. Although you are more than a friend to me but the journey started as two friends.

Even when things weren't going too smoothly for you and your family, you never gave up, you continued struggling until you were able to achieve your goal and that is one of the things I learned from you. You taught me never to give up no matter what life throws at me and never settle for less and that you taught me through your life.

I am grateful for the advice, encouragement, corrections, rebuke, financial help and always looking out for me even when it was not necessary. Thank you for always taking up the responsibility of checking up on me to be sure I have eaten by keeping a portion of your food even when it wasn't enough for you.

I remember those nights, you would leave your bed for me to lie on just so I would be comfortable while you are inconveniencing yourself by lying on the floor, and those days I would wake up to see myself covered up with your covering because the weather became cold and I slept off not covering myself.

Those memories still linger in my heart and when I see you smile even when you've got a thousand and one reasons to be sad, I am proud that we crossed paths.

You've got so much virtue embroidered in just you, not only can you cook but you've got the heart of gold filled with respect and humility for everyone that came your way.

Thank you for always worrying about me and creating a special place in your heart for me considering the fact that I am stubborn. Thank you for the times you pushed me beyond where I thought I could go, thank you for opening your arms for me to lean on when I had no one to share my confusion with.

Thank you for being a source of inspiration, thank you for believing in me and teaching me to believe in myself, thank you for showing me what humility means even when you've got it all.

As you start a new phase of your life, I wish you all the best and pray that the windows of heaven shall open up in your favour, and may His countenance shine upon you. May you continue to fulfill your purpose on the planet earth and may your smile ever cease.

I pray that as you begin a new chapter of your life, so shall God begin a new journey filled with His goodness, mercies, love, prosperity, good health, breakthrough, protection, blessings, growth, and many good things in your life. Lines shall fall in places for you.

Your voice shall never cease, it shall continue to be heard and it shall go places. You shall be called blessed by your husband and children. I have no silver or gold to give to you but all I have to say is that may God in heaven grant all your heart desires as you begin this new phase of your life.

You are one of the best things that have happened to me and I am grateful I came in contact with you, I am grateful for all the love you showered upon me even when you did not know me, all the love and care you showed to me even when I had nothing to offer to you.

May God enlarge your coast and take you higher than where you are and may your cup overflow even in the presence of your enemies. May the Lord be your present helper in times of need and may the Lord perfect all that concerns you, may He bless and keep you.

May His glory be seen in you, may He place you above your equals, all your heart desires shall come to fulfillment and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
