Juventus also won their match with a 3 nil scoreline but the highlight was with Ronaldo scoring his second goal of the tournament this season and also setting a reaching a milestone of 750 career goals. The goal scored yesterday was his 75th goal in Juventus FC.

5-star performance for Giroud as he scores four against Sevilla in group E

Chelsea cements their place at the top of the group E table with a 4-0 win against Sevilla. The high light of the match was Giroud scoring all four goals. He scored with his right foot, left foot and header; the perfect goal before adding a penalty late on.

In doing so he became the oldest player in the competition history to score a hat trick, breaking Cristiano Ronaldo's record in the competition. He is also the first player to score four goals in a Chelsea shirt since Lampard put four goals past Aston villa in 2010.
