My Love is like to ice, and I to fire:
How comes it then that this her cold so great
Is not dissolved through my so hot desire,

What is poem? Group of words or just life philosophy. Some people believe,a poem should be read so slowly as you read a novel.

Today I wanna put a delightful poem jotted down by @Edmundspencer .He is considered one of the best poet in english literature.He is called poet of poet. During the Elizabeth period he built a dynasty with his own writing hand.He wrote the great epic named The Faerie Queene which brought him great name.

This is a sonnet. At that era spencer was so popular and pleasing to all that his type of sonnet is called @spencerio sonnet .He put questions in the first two paragraph and answer those questions at the end.so sweet to read and easy to extract the meaning out of it.

ববঙ্গানুবাদ

আমার এই পোস্টটি করবার উদ্দেশ্য হচ্ছে আপনাদের এই কবিতার সাথে পরিচয় করিয়ে দেওয়া! কবিতার আবার পরিচয় কি! আছে বৈ কি!সব কিছুরই পরিচয় আছে। এই জন্য কবিতার ও নাম হয়, মানুষেরও নাম হয়!

আমাদের প্রথম সনেটের সাথে পরিচয় ঘটে স্কুল জীবন। মাইকেল মধুসূদন দত্তের সনেটের সাথে আমরা সকলেই পরিচিত! সবার মনে আছে কিনা জানিনা, সনেটের ছন্দের মিল রাখবার জন্যে কিছু সুনির্দিষ্ট বর্নের মিল রাখা হয় যেমন কখককখ।ইংরেজি বর্নেরও তাই abccd এরকমটা।

এই সনেটেও তা খেয়াল রাখা হয়েছে এবং খুবই সুন্দর ভাবে লেখকের ব্যাক্তিগত অভিব্যাক্তি সনেটটিতে প্রকাশ পেয়েছে সাবলীল ভাবে।ঘটনা সত্য মিথ্যা কিনা জানিনা তবে এই কবিতাটা সম্পর্কে একটা লিখায় পড়লাম, স্পেনসারের বিয়েতে তার প্রিয়তমাকে উদ্দেশ্য করে কবিতাটা লিখা।এবং তাকে উদ্দেশ্য করেই কবিতাটি পরিপূর্ণতা পেয়েছে।

নিজের মতন করে অর্থ করা

আমি একটা গল্পের মতন করে অর্থটা দাঁড়া করাতে চাই।লাঠিতে ভর দিয়ে নয় আপন অর্থেই কবিতাটি স্বয়ংসম্পূর্ণ বলেই আমার ধারনা।
প্রথমত, কবিতাটিতে প্রেম আর ভালোবাসা পৃথক করা হয়েছে দুইটি ভিন্ন লিঙ্গের মানুষের প্রকৃতি বোঝানোর মাধ্যমে।প্রেম বলতে যেমন আমি ব্যাক্তিগত ভাবে কামকে বুঝি, তেমনিভাবে ভালোবাসা বলতে আমি ভালোবাসাকেই বুঝি, যা অন্য কোনো শব্দ দিয়ে পৃথক করা সম্ভব নয়।এখন আপনারা যদি পৃথক করেন তবে আপনারা কসাই ভিন্ন অন্য কিছু নন

প্রথম চরনগুলোতে বোঝানো হয়েছে দুইটি ভিন্ন চরিত্রের মানুষ দুই জন দুইজনেত আপন চরিত্রের মাঝে অধিষ্ঠিত থেকে ভালোবেসেছে।

কেউ তার প্রকৃতি থেকে সরে আসেন নি, অপরের প্রেমে পরেন নি, কিন্তু ভালোবেসেছেন।আর এই নিখাঁদ ভালোবাসার দরুন তারা মানুষ হিসেবে পরিপূর্ণতা পেয়েছেন!

কবিতাটি পড়লে দেখতে পাবেন, কবি বলেছেন যে সে তার রূঢ় স্বাভাব আরো প্রক্রম্পিতো হয়েছে, তা ফুলে ফেঁপে পুর্নিমারাতে আধারের মতন শান্ত হয়েছেন তিনি।তার রূঢ় প্রকৃতি তার প্রিয়তমাকে অশান্ত করে তাকে দূরে সরিয়ে দেন নি, বরং সে আরো শান্ত হয়েছে। এবং একই সাথে দুইজনের পুর্ণতায় ভালোবাসার পূর্ণতা ঘটেছে!

এবং তিনি উপসংহারে উপনীত হয়েছেন যে, ভালোবাসাকে ভালোবাসার মতন গ্রহন করলে অনেক শুভ কিছু ঘটা সময়ের প্রয়োজন মাত্র।
