This Love Story of Mine

I must warn you, what you're about to read is most probably isn't something you've read before. I know my title gave it away but unlike every other love story you may know, this is different, this is my love story.

Unlike some Hollywood movies which romance scene starts with someone carrying a stack of books that eventually gets knocked down by an opposite sex by mistake and then they both bend down to pick the book and before we know what's happening, they're both lost in each other's eyes, mine started in my hostel room.

It was as if faith and cupid made a bet and they just couldn't wait to get a winner so they both agreed to speed things up by bringing Dora to my room. I could still remember every detail of that evening like it was yesterday.

I had called a female friend of mine just to check up on her as it's best a while we both saw each other. During the conversation, we both agreed on her coming over to my place later in the evening to come say hi.

The sun set and it was evening. She did come over but not alone. She came with another female friend of hers. Names and compliments were exchanged between me and this new friend of hers and before we knew it, there was this instant connection.

We both exchanged numbers with me promising to keep in touch. Three weeks after our first meeting and we were already into each other. We made sure to hang out almost every weekend. Everything was going perfectly fine, well until I met her boyfriend.
