Family, Celebration, Gardening....

Family is probably the best gift that a person can have in his life. No matter how rough and tough the time goes, the family members are always there to support you and stay by your side at all times. Lucky are those who have those kind of family members in their life. The festival of EID, is going on in my country. Even though it is not really going the way it was expected (due to COVID) but by far, we are alive and healthy and for that I am happy and I am indeed thankful to the Almighty. All those who got effected, I really wish from deep down my heart, they recover soon and hopefully we might get an antidote in August (According to Russia). Let us hope for the best!

I am still not able to get out of my house. Yeah covid and also some other preparations were needed to be taken care of but today my aunt and her family visited our house. It was really a busy day. While as they visited, we took a short trip to our grandmothers house and met all the other family members out there. It was probably after more than 4 months we were meeting in person. All the cousins got together and it was really a pleasant day to spend. Under normal circumstances it would have been a lot different but it was pretty amazing by far.

Among other things that happened today, this particular thing got my attention. One of my uncle was making a small garden in front of his house. And it was not that big but it did got my attention at first glance. Let me take you on a small tour and show you what he has been upto.

It was probably the best image that came out for the day. I was taking these images I had to do some things which I usually do while taking pictures. I was turning my phone upside down, trying from different angles and also pushing myself in the ground for certain images. My cousin brother was standing behind me and he was laughing as I was taking the images. But once I was done and showed him the results, he was quite surprised. His facial expressions was something to watch lol.

The above plant I am not really familiar with. And what I saw was it was not really that much useful plant. As it was growing along the wall as if, it was some sort of not needed plants. As I saw it almost everywhere of their house. I might be mistaken as well though. So my bad if that happens.

I still remember the old days. When I used to visit my grandparent's house and I used to do all these mischievous activities. Among them was having fruits from the trees. While there was nothing much remaining but this guava tree and the guava was also not ripe as the season just started for these guavas to grow. Well. I suppose that could not stop me lol. Got some of them and finished them over there. They were not really that good but I liked those ;) reminded of the good old days!

This plant was also out there. My apologies, I do not know its name either. But it was just looking nice, so I was not able to stop myself from capturing its picture :)

Now coming to the main attraction of this garden. I am not sure if you are aware Aloe Vera but this is really a useful plant. It does have variety of use case. He planted quite a lot of these plants around his home. Some of them were grown and some were growing pretty great. And more importantly there was another reason as well.

His elder son is having some problem with his hair. He is suffering from hairloss. And that even in a very early age. He is not even 20 years old. He tried almost everything and honestly nothing seemed to be working for him. But at last he is trying this method of Aloe Vera. He probably heard somewhere about the usage of Aloe Vera, helps reduce the hair damage and he has been making use of that. Not sure how much it helped him but as for me, what I saw was, it did not help him that much. Either way, hair loss can be a real pain for anybody and especially when you are at an early age!

Like I said there were quite a lot of them planted in his house and most of them seemed healthy. My uncle had some old habits of planting but I was not aware he ever wanted to try it out in a mass way. Not that it was huge but it is nice to see some plants around the house. And they were also being taken care of. So it was good at the end as well.

Last but not the least, the Culantro was also out in the plant list. And as like Aloe vera, this was also planted in quite a few numbers. While, I planned few things before the EID but unfortunately this event came by and had to miss the other plan I had. Not that I am regretting it as these small memories of today, were probably much more precious to me than anything else. After all family comes first!! How did you spend your EID? Any hangouts or get together was made by you or your family? Do let me know! Till then stay safe.
