Use and Mis-use
Hello good people of the Blockchain
I was a little off the track today. Had an argument with a friend of mine and it did not really go well. Thus had a very bad mood the whole day and I was kinda pissed as we speak. Well, little get together does really help a lot thus the hangout from the @bdcommunity discord, really cheered up the mood. While, let me take you to today's topic, and let's discuss a few points regarding it. Since we are in the crypto sphere, I will try to share the thoughts much more into this sector than any other.
Whenever I have an opportunity in my life, I have that tendency to check it out, whether or not it is really worth it. By that I literally mean, I check them out and see for myself, if it suits my criteria or not. Honestly, I came across many of these situations and that is how I got myself introduced to some of the promising platforms that I am working as of today. And HIVE is one of them!
FACTS
A few days back, I saw a person complaining about the issue of cryptocurrency. Well, many of you might know that crypto is not really legal in all the countries across the globe. As still as of today, many governments are placing bans to this world of crypto/blockchain. And that is no question to doubt, that it opens quite a handful of questions about crypto. As many of us are not aware of how this world works and what are the pros and cons of it. Needless, to say the mango public (normal citizens) would be more afraid to get into it whenever they get to listen government does not approve this & that. That fear will always be within us unless you get deep into the feature and get to educate yourself about it. So the thing happened was, a person came out of nowhere and started asking the question, of how legal it is with the things we are doing in this Blockchain (in terms of those countries crypto rules which have bans over crypto). Regardless, the fact is how and where are we using the technology that should be the prime focus of a garden, and if it is done that way, then I suppose the crypto adoption will get bigger as we speak.
Mis-use
As far as I am concerned, every possible scenario (about investments) can be exploited, thus can be used in the wrong way as well. As of today, money is being laundered in almost every way possible, and in this space of crypto, this can be used in a great way for people who are into black money. But even before when crypto was not here, it has happened and it was quite unstoppable to alter or freeze the assets in a huge way.
While, as a matter of fact not only in this sector (crypto) but almost in every sector misconduct of assets are happening and corruption will be there as well. But that does not mean we shall have to remove the authority/gov which is running the chain/country. Just because they are not doing their job or making money off of us. IT HAPPENS and I suppose we are used to that as well!
If I sum up, I must say it solely depends on how your intention is to use something and how you can benefit from it ad in addition to how you can make others get benefitted from it.
Use-case
I am not sure how many platforms are there where you can get some value for your time. STEEM in the past was the best option that I have seen and currently, HIVE has taken that place for my best interest. When the explanation came out of how HIVE is impacting a person both mentally and financially it can definitely change the viewpoint of a person of seeing the whole face of crypto. Like come on, where can you get a dollar value for your time in a normal social media platform but HIVE can do that. It can literally make an impact on a person's life.
In many countries where crypto is banned, they lose the ability to speak openly to people about these opportunities that are related to crypto thus many people are losing the opportunity to make something out of these platforms. Just because the government is only seeing the negative side of this tech. Especially in 3rd world countries, HIVE can literally change the life of a person. I have met plenty of them and till now this tech is allowing us to move in that direction of making history(of course in a positive way).
If only the people who genuinely understand crypto, can get into government and shows them how it can be a genuine source of income for thousands or if not millions of people all across the globe, it will be a massive success for all, win-win situation for us all. But you already know the answer to it I suppose.
A government can build a nation if only it wants to and if not those people sitting at that place can make things worse for its citizens. I hope in the next coming days all these scenario changes and we get to see more friendly system and people get to adopt the tech that is already making differences in people's lives. By saying that, I would take leave and I will see you soon everyone!

I have to disagree with this 100%... The government can't build anything for the people as in 99% they have no clue what are they doing... Usually, the people who "run" the show are politician with ZERO experience in business and ZERO interest to help ordinary people... They care about themselves and how to protect the system that brings THEM money...
On the other side, PEOPLE can build a lot of stuff and can CHANGE the perspective and mode of living... After that, it should FORCE lazy politicians to implement something in the "system"... And that's EXACTLY what's happening (happened) with BLOCKCHAIN technology and CRYPTOCURRENCIES... They have tried (and trying), to ban, to deny the existence, to spread bad mouth about it, but they CAN'T STOP IT... It's happening, and it will be implemented in all life spheres...
It's not the matter of IF, it's just a matter of WHEN...

Needless to say, being in a country where I am, this is sth which I am used to. And sometimes I even wonder who gave responsibility to these people to make decisions just based on some speculations. As most of them had no idea of what is actually going on.
A solution to this problem is, appoint young people who are actually aware of current circumstances and not only that all the actions that will be done (finance/decisions/input/output etc) will be publicly available. That will give transparency and no chance of misusing the role or power that they have within themselves. And last but if they do not have that spirit within themselves to make a change for the country and people they are not fit for this position and if anything that is done in the wrong way the consequences should scare them to hell as what I say, Fear can make people do the right thing.
Well, I am not sure how various countries will develop under these leaders, we just need to make peace with what we have and bring the revolution to each one of us. Let's start by transforming us at the 1st place and slowly it shall spread to others.
I would force that politician's salaries are paid in crypto... to ONE public address, just to make everyghing transparent... lol... 🤣 🤣 🤣

I don't know actually my country is permitted cryptocurrency or not.
