The Joy Of Motherhood

Zainab, a close friend of mine put to bed last month. I was elated when I got this news and called her to congratulate her.

I was happy for Zainab considering the circumstances that surrounded the birth of her first baby. She had complications when she was pregnant with her first child. The doctor diagnosed her and found out she had hypertension. This made him place her medications and a diet plan. She visited the hospital often and told me the visits had an adverse psychological effect on her because she always anticipated bad news from the doctor.

The unpleasant experience during the course of her first pregnancy made Zainab take her health seriously afterwards. She adopted a healthier lifestyle and had no complications during her second pregnancy. She told me about the difficult but necessary changes she had to make to achieve her desired goal. She kept emphasising the need for her and her baby to be healthy before and after delivery. I could only imagine the concern and love a mother has for her unborn child!

I attended the naming ceremony of Zainab's new born baby and had a great time at the event. Zainab and her baby looked adorable! They have both been partners in this exciting journey! They overcame the obstacles on their path and ultimately became victorious! The event was filled with pomp and circumstance. There were a lot of guests who spiced up the occasion with their presence. A lot of gifts were given to Zainab and her baby by the guests. I love the goodwill that is always shown to mother's and their babies on occasions like this. It gives good vibes! I also got to meet some of my friends and had a nice time with them. The event was a special and memorable one.

I wish Zainab and her baby the best life has to offer. I hope their bond continues to wax stronger.

Thanks for reading,
Have a pleasant day folks.

Wow !! I'm glad your friend zainab put to bed successfully.
Even without any ailment of any sort child bearing is always tough.

I could only imagine the concern and love a mother has for her unborn child!
I really don't think any sane woman with child would wanna see that child drift into the abyss of death.
She would have to do anything in her power to make sure she and the child live. In some critical situations some mother's even risk their own lives for their children. They would rather the child lives and they die.
Kudos to all loving mom's you know!!
