The Late Steve Jobs

Even if you know so little about tech stuffs, one way or the other you would have come across the name Steve Jobs. Steven Paul Jobs is one of the reasons we have personalized computer today, a huge force in the computer revolution. Born February 24, 1955 in California, U.S. this adopted child became an entrepreneur, investor, media proprietor and industrial designer.Although he dropped out of college in 1972, the late Steve Jobs went on to co-found Apple Inc in 1976 with his long time friend Steve Wozniak which later gained wealth and fame.
He was later ousted in 1985 due to a power struggle with the then CEO John Scully which made him found NeXT with some members of Apple which he took with him. This company was later acquired by Apple and Jobs became the CEO in an effort to save Apple from bankruptcy in 1997. Steve Jobs also co-founded Pixar in 1979 even though he is a board member of Walt Disney.With time Apple Inc gradually rose to its feet and created iMac,iTunes,iTunes store, Apple store,iPod, iPhone,Appetite and iPad which we still enjoy today. Jobs developed an interest in electronics by the age of 10 greatly influenced by the background in mechanics he got from his adoptive father Paul.
Steve wasnt the typical child growing up, he even had difficulty making friends his age and even became a loner in school. He was often suspended due to his bad behavior and difficulty following authority at that time. He became a bully later on as he always played pranks on children at the elementary school in Mountain view where he grew up. Although he was never reprimanded by his father, things took a different turn when his fourth grade teacher bribed him into learning which changed his life totally from then on. He later got bullied in seventh grade which caused his family to buy a new house in a different area and change his school. This area was largely populated by engineering families which also had a huge influence in his love for electronics and who he became later on.
Steve Jobs wasn't the nerd most people assume him to be, he was brilliant but also an hippie because most of his decisions lacked direction and he could never fit into any group growing up. Personally I think Steve Jobs was a brainy entrepreneur who saw the need in the market and moved to fill that need while making money. His relationship with Wozniak who was his best friend since senior year in high school is also a contributing factor to who he became. His friend was actually the brain behind the basic design of Apple 1 computer which he showed to Jobs and Jobs brought the idea of selling it. A decision which later led to the founding of Apple computer company an operation that started in Jobs bedroom and became the Apple Inc we enjoy today. Although Steve Jobs bad health decisions led to his early death from pancreatic cancer in 2011 after resigning as Apple's CEO, his great contribution to technology especially computers is one thing we are ever grateful for.
