Digital Sketch ~ Portrait Of A Bee 🤭

Greetings Wonderful People!
Happy Weekend to you all, I trust you are having a great day and weekend.
Ok, since I started making digital sketches, the progress keeps getting better.
These few days I have been pretty occupied such that I couldn't make a sketch but turns out last night when I couldn't seem to find sleep since I am not feeling too well, I decided to make a sketch.

The sketch is a friend's portrait. She is also an hiver here.
Though I always had it in mind to sketch her and then gift it to her but I wanted to wait till when I get better with my digital work since I am still learning.
I know making sketches is a lot of work and trust me for anyone that doesn't know about this.
I love doing this even with the stress involved, it's a passion that never gonna die off and I am trying to groom that passion and talent.
I want to be able to make sketches and gift my loved ones someday. It has always been a long life wish and I hope to fulfill it someday if Christ tarry to come.

So I spent the whole night making this and trying to make the portrait come out a little better.
I will show you a few processes of the work.
But before then, I would like to know if I have made any errors (of course I believe I have, I am still learning) so if you sight any, do let me know in the comment section, thank you!

PROCESSES

I made an outline sketch of the girl's portrait. I used a pen brush, reduced the opacity to 65%, and the thickness of the brush tool.
I made the outlines from her face to her body.

Then I choose the paint bucket to fill in color. I chose a fitting skin color for the girl, I filled up the face, and then her body.

I went ahead to fill and paint the hair with black ink, drew the eyebrows, inserted the eyeballs, and then her lips and tooth.

I chose a color for the dress and then filled and blended it well, leaving her fingers white and making her noseless😅

After filling in the colors, I blended them well, and then I used the airbrush tool to shape her front hair (I just graced her with some front hair, cause she doesn't have much 🤭🤣🤣) I hope she doesn't see this though hehehehe

I used another lip color to line her lips and make it appear a little realistic than what it was before.
The difference between these lips and the former is very clear and obvious here.

Now time to make her body realistic too. Yes, I chose a lighter skin color and picked the airbrush tool, and blended the skin, shading some parts and portion of her skin, those portions are the shadows from the ray of light on her skin.

I continued the shadow shading and then I trimmed her lips a little bit to fit the right size and shape it should have been.

Here I changed the background color and also blended her dress with a shadow shading too using the airbrush tool.

And finally, I made the shadow shading of her eyelids and blended in every portion that needed a retouch.

And there! We have our finished portrait.
It came out better than I imagined and I spent my night doing this so I have no regret for sacrificing my sleep and rest time for it.
So tell me, how is the sketch? Any improvement so far?

Anyway, I wanna use this opportunity to tell you who the hiver I sketched is since I didn't mention her name earlier.

I hope she likes this and yes, it's my first digital sketch gift to her, but as I improve I might make something better for her especially if she bribes me 🤭🤣 (just kidding lol) but I wouldn't mind lol.
