Beautiful Sunday + Sublime Sunday

Normally I will be in charged of cooking lunch on the weekend. We are having a simple western lunch today. Air-fried whole chicken leg, air-fried broccoli with carrots and scallops and mashed potato.

Slice the potato, boil till soft. Add in mixed herbs, cheddar cheese and roasted sesame sauce. Mashed and mixed well. And our homemade mashed potato was done.

Finely cut some ginger into thin stripes. Put some oil into the air-fryer. Add the ginger stripes into the air-fryer. Cook at 180°C for 10 minutes. And our air-fried ginger was done.

Then our main course of the day, our whole chicken leg. I cooked 5 whole chicken leg. Yup, for 3 adults and 3 kids. My three girls shared two whole chicken legs. Totally love how the whole chicken leg was nicely cook in the air-fryer. It was juicy and tender. I just marinated the whole chicken leg with some salt, black pepper and mixed herbs. Rub some oil onto the whole chicken leg and put them all into the air-fryer and cooked at 200°C 12 minutes twice.

Took out the yummilicious whole chicken legs and pour out most of the gravy. Add in the scallops. Cook at 180°C for 8 minutes. Add in the blanched broccoli and carrot stripes and cook for another 8 minutes at 180°C too. Add some more of the chicken gravy and mixed herbs to the vegetables before served.

Simple but yummy lunch we had today. Totally love my air-fryer. One of the best kitchen appliances I have invested in. ❤️❤️❤️
