What is the number one habit to become successful crypto investor ?

I will have to keep my post short today because today my grandfather has passed away. And I had to make some travel plans to be at his funeral. However, I had to keep going with writing on Hive every single day. Today is Day number 16 of my personal 365 days of writing challenge.

“I just sit in my office and read all day.” - Warren Buffett

Success does not come overnight. Achieving success in investing is a long-term process. Building good habits can increase our chance to become successful investors in Crypto. Let me know what's your number one habit given that you're into crypto investing.

  1. Do your own research
  2. Don't leave all eggs in one basket. Diversify, diversify, diversify.
  3. Keep aside an emergency fund
  4. Think longer-term
  5. Focus on what you can control not what you can’t
  6. Invest early
  7. HODL, Sometimes, the best thing to do is nothing

In my personal opinion, reading is the number one habit that every crypto investor must cultivate.

I want leofinance.io to become the number one place where everyone comes to learn and share about crypto investment. So let's build a solid foundation together for that to happen in the coming years.

Don't forget to hit that upvote button and leave a comment.
Thank you and I truly appreciate your support. I'm grateful to be part of our crypto, Hive, and LeoFinance community.

Listen to whatever @nathanmars says.

He calls for $5 Hive and I believe him. 😁

I heard him talking about 50$, how about that?

I would be millionaire in my own country's currency, in the Hungarian Forint (HUF). I currently have 724.984 Hive Power, and with a $50 USD Hive price, that would worth $36 249.20 USD, and that is currently approximately 11 225 289 HUF. $1 USD is currently 309.67 HUF.

I don't see why now. If you ask me, people should all be a lot richer than today. The System has f-ed... led us down for quite some time now. I don't see a reason why we don't all drive Porsche and have big Houses on earth.

Honestly? I do not want to drive a Porsche, neither to have a big House. But I would like to get out of the financial discrimination, in which I currently live in.

I would like to buy a sailboat. That would get me out of it, because I would not have to pay rent and regular monthly bills, which are both very high. I heard people buying sailboats for around $1000 USD, so maybe this is not an unrealistic goal with the Hive blockchain, and it would change my life for the better. And it will. I am very grateful and very happy for all the support I receive.

I'm sure about the boat 🚤 and stuff, but I've made nearly 2k Hive in Author rewards so far and I've not been going all out.

You currently have 20 070.667 Hive Power. So the most of it are either investment, curation rewards and/or trade? I earned mostly cents with most of my posts so far, but recently this has been changed (improved). I am very optimistic and motivated/inspired about this.

I made some posts early on DTube earned a few bucks, sold them, and traded them back to my Bank Account. I couldn't believe it, I just transformed STEEM Coins into Euro? Wtf, that was shocking.

After that, all I did was buy some, earn some and hodl. At some point, I was buying STEEM at below 10c$, small amounts of money but good Coins. The STEEM to HIVE Fork doubled my Power since I sold all the crappy STEEM for HIVE. Then I did #hodl and #hodl and buy small amounts and earned a little bit of HIVE and so on and so forth :D

I also did something similar. I uploaded one or two DTube videos, then sold all the Steem for Hive, but then I had to sell that for Euro (Hungarian Forint) (HUF) to get by. It is a much much smaller amount, yet it was still a great help to someone like me, who lives under the local minimum wage. But either way, congratulations on your journey. That is a huge success.

I currently have 724.984 Hive Power. With a $5 USD Hive price, that would worth $3624.92 USD. It would worth literally more than my annual/yearly pension-like income. I can wait. 😂

I reserve the right to change my mind.

I'm calling $50 HIVE now because I'm reading more and more web3 stuffs.

First of all, I am mourning the death of your grandfather. However I think leofinance.io has a lot to learn about crypto from here. I constantly try to read many posts in this community and try to learn about investing from here. Because to me I am completely inexperienced in crypto investing. Because investing is not possible without experience. As I heard from one of my colleagues yesterday, he has suffered a loss of about 5 lakh Bangladeshi rupees. Only due to lack of knowledge about crypto.

Hey Nathan.

I’m truly sorry to hear that you have lost someone dear. I lost my Opa at the beginning of this pandemic. It’s already been a whole year now since his passing… and I miss him.

I hope that you were able to spend the time that mattered with your grandfather. I feel grateful that I was able to do that with my Opa especially in his older years. I had to go out of my way but it was worth it. I have so many good memories of our time together and I hope that you have the same with your grandfather.

My friend! Keep cultivating that crypto/investment wisdom! Your right… Warren Buffet is a pro reader and I think that this is discipline #1.

Let’s continue to hone our intellectual edge, sharpen our integrity, and deepen our connections with the ones who matter.

Sincerely,

-Wil

Losing my Opa is another reminder for me that how valuable spending time with loved ones actually is.

Spend your money on the things money can buy.
Spend your time on the things money can't buy.

Truly appreciate your continuous support Wil!

I couldn't agree more with these 7 tips... An investor, whether of crypto or any other, should be reader. How else will he get to do his researches? And hodling too. Very important!

Sorry about the passing of your grandfather. My condolence.

I feel you are missing one: Follow your own plan and rules.

I find that doing that helps you stay calm and forces you to do the research.

Our calm mind is the ultimate weapon against our challenges.

A year ago, my mind was all over the place and I made a conscious decision to cultivate a calm mind.

A calm mind makes better investment decisions.

Another tip is never obsess about the prices. If your holding for long then it gonna rise and fall and it all the long game so relax and if possible enjoy the intrest building.

Long-term consistency trumps short-term intensity - Bruce Lee

This is becoming my favorite quote of all time.

Life is a lot more fragile than we think. So we should treat others in a way that leaves no regrets. Fairly, and if possible, sincerely.
