It took some time to figure out how the new tags work on @dbuzz We're more like Twitter now. I'd say it's time for more #marketing

With https://presearch.org you can stake for keyword ads! You might end up making ROI on your ad spend!

Hmm.

I looked into it. It is interesting indeed.

You stake Pre Token (Valued at .03 today), and then you get your add / message displayed on top of the search page for that term/keyword.

If I was bidding on "BitCoin" I would need to stake over "8,970,000" pre to have my add show, this is about "$269,100". Ok.

The problem I see is in the long term.

If you have the most on a key word, it's your till someone else stakes more. Like king of the hill game, you are on top, till you get pushed off.

With more staking, the value of pre should go up right? So if you hold a big chunk on a key word, it could be yours for life... and their in is the problem.

Let's say you bought 1,000,000 Pre and staked it, added a link, then you die. If the value of pre keeps going up, perhaps very few to no one would be able to get more than a million on your key word. Now, your add stays up for ever, even if its not viable or working. :/

Also, in this model, its easy for a fewer people to control a larger section of the market. If you have a lot of PRE, its easy to out bid others and take their keywords, earn more, and then stake more on other keywords, they're not so much losing money as you are just locking up tokens, so it's easy to keep amassing more... not so much a fair market.

With lets say google adds, you have to keep paying, so if you run out of money your add goes down, also a smaller fish, could run an add for a day and out bid larger fish increasing the chance of them having success. This would not be the case with PRE, is once you stick your tokens there up, and you could focus on outbidding other keywords and securing rights those specific keywords, in essence creating a monopoly that would be hard to topple.

Lastly, What type of search volume is this website getting, when looking to stake tokens on a keyword, it doesn't say what the search volume is on the particular keyword, so it's hard to judge if people are actually using this website to search for specific keywords we would want.

If we're gonna look at ads and spending, then I would say looking at Yahoo, or Bing would be cheaper and provided better ROI at the moment.

that's just my thoughts

Second Follow up.
I will set up and account buy some pre and try it out, then report back if its any use for us.
So far, the minumal you need to buy is 1000 Pre (So about 36 usd) spend, then you can start to stake on a key word.
