I downloaded the AltspaceVR 2D Windows app (can't afford a headset) so I can virtually attend HiveFest 5 later this month. I'll work on my avatar's look tomorrow.

No, VR is not required. Simple apps are available for Windows and Mac. More info here:

I downloaded the windows 2D version as well. Looking forward to my first ability to attend #HiveFest!
