So this is a Virtual Machine so it's different than WINE right? How is it able to offer native performance?

Yes it is different to wine. I am not 100% sure about their intention but streamin is one possibility.
But I think you could deach windows now and play on an unix host. But is heally experimental.

I'm not so sure. If it's streamed then you'll need two different devices which removes much of the appeal of being a Virtual Machine. (I do think there are use-cases for this either way.)

No it not streamed. Copied from on buffer to another. They just provided a plugin for OBS.
It is literally a lookin glass into Windows VM video buffer.
