I get why some don't have online banking, if having a bank account is made difficult by even the banks. Still I encourage small businesses to at least facilitate cashless payments. It saves us time and it'll be easier to track when doing your accounting.

What are your thoughts?

Sounds good if your someone who stays in one place and goes to that one bank, and people can always make deposits through an atm at least a good bit of them so it doesn't matter really

Yeah, when you're someone who's traveling a lot, especially to foreign countries, a debit card is not an option. I was indeed talking about banks in one country, where you are able to use ATM's as a "host" to purchase products or pay for services.

Online banking is important, since going into the branch is a hassle, and often takes too much time + energy.

Yes, that's what I meant to say in fewer words 😅.
I used to say at my former employer, when I needed to run errands, that I don't wait in line for my personal errands, so I asked if I could "receive" the funds electronically and whatever's left, I'll transfer back to the account.
