Push-up/Pull-up/Chin-up/Sit-up Challenge Week 2

I have worked ahead a bit, so I am starting this week on day 14. My goal is to work ahead a bit more this week. Here is the breakdown of how it went.

Monday

  • 14 push-ups
  • 14 sit-ups
  • 2 pull-ups
  • 2 chin-ups

I had an early appointment to be at today, so I didn’t have time to get my reps in before work. I was able to find time before bed to get them in. I’m hoping to make better progress tomorrow.

Tuesday

  • 15 push-ups
  • 15 sit-ups
  • 2 pull-ups
  • 2 chin-ups

I got my first Moderna COVID vaccine dose this morning. I didn’t have any side effects, so I was able to get day 15s reps finished before heading to work. I was busy again after work, so I didn’t work ahead today either.

Wednesday

  • 16 push-ups
  • 16 sit-ups
  • 2 pull-ups
  • 2 chin-ups

My arm is a little sore this morning from my shot, but it didn’t affect my ability to get my reps finished before work. I still didn't get the chance to work ahead.

Thursday

  • 17 push-ups
  • 17 sit-ups
  • 2 pull-ups
  • 2 chin-ups

I was so busy today that I nearly forgot to do my reps. I managed to get them in right before bed though.

Friday

  • 37 push-ups
  • 37 sit-ups
  • 4 pull-ups
  • 4 chin-ups

I was determined to work ahead today. I was able to get day 18, and 19 finished.

Saturday

  • 20 push-ups
  • 20 sit-ups
  • 3 pull-ups
  • 3 chin-ups

I’m worn out. I worked out in the yard and cleaned the house today. I did day 20’s reps, but I don’t think I’ll be able to work ahead anymore. The Chin-ups and Pull-ups make it very difficult.

Sunday

  • Rest day

I’ve chosen Sunday to be my rest day, so this is the end of my second week. Tomorrow will start my third week, and I will be on day 21 of the challenge. Things are getting tough, but I'm still confident in my ability to stick with this.

Here are the rules again in case you want to join the challenge.

Do 1 push-up and sit-up, adding 1 additional push-up and sit-up for each day of the challenge.
Do 1 chin-up and pull-up, adding 1 additional chin-up and pull-up for each 10th day of the challenge
You can work ahead but only if you complete all of the exercises for that day.
You can split up the exercises throughout the day as long as they are all done by the end of the day
