Push-up/Pull-up/Chin-up/Sit-up Challenge Week 5

I have worked ahead a bit, so I am starting this week on day 32.


  • 32 push-ups
  • 32 sit-ups
  • 4 pull-ups
  • 4 chin-ups

I didn’t have time to get my reps in before work this morning, but I made sure to get them done before bed.


  • 33 push-ups
  • 33 sit-ups
  • 4 pull-ups
  • 4 chin-ups

I got my reps in during the morning today before work. I was struggling to get them all done at the same time last week, but this week has been a bit easier so far.


  • 34 push-ups
  • 34 sit-ups
  • 4 pull-ups
  • 4 chin-ups

I did my reps before work this morning. They are getting more difficult again. I think they are easier at the start of the week, because of the rest day I take on Sunday.


  • 35 push-ups
  • 35sit-ups
  • 4 pull-ups
  • 4 chin-ups

Before I jumped in the shower I made sure to get my reps in. I was moving a little slower than normal, but I was still able to get them all done at the same time.


  • 36 push-ups
  • 36 sit-ups
  • 4 pull-ups
  • 4 chin-ups

Today was rough. I still managed to get everything done in one go, but it is getting more and more difficult. I can really tell the difference between when I have just had a rest day, and when I’m towards the end of a week.


  • 37 push-ups
  • 37 sit-ups
  • 4 pull-ups
  • 4 chin-ups

Today was a little better than the last two. I did my reps a little after lunch. I think that helped me be a little fresher going into them.


  • Rest day

I’ve chosen Sunday to be my rest day, so this is the end of my fifth week. Tomorrow will start my sixth week, and I will be on day 38 of the challenge. Things got a lot tougher towards the end of this week, but I'm still going strong. We will see if this next week is when I have to split the exercises up throughout the day.

Here are the rules again in case you want to join the challenge.

Do 1 push-up and sit-up, adding 1 additional push-up and sit-up for each day of the challenge.
Do 1 chin-up and pull-up, adding 1 additional chin-up and pull-up for each 10th day of the challenge
You can work ahead but only if you complete all of the exercises for that day.
You can split up the exercises throughout the day as long as they are all done by the end of the day
