My Actifit Report Card: October 22 2021

Found these little beauties growing out of the pavement against the wall beside the Co-op. Perfect for @faeriestories!

It was a beautiful day yesterday and I tried not to spend too long in boring drudgery compiling statistics for a report. I suppose the good thing about monitoring is that you can see where you have been. But l got out into the sun and enjoyed the falling leaves and autumn colours in the afternoon.

Made steady progress with my new jumper and finished all the upper body shaping, ready for trying on for fit. Have to say it looks a little small to me on the needles, may need a few more rows for a comfortable armscye. Will check the gauge, too.

Found a new podcast from someone in England, and several others popped up, too. Gained lots of information about yarns, Drops especially, which does very nice wool for reasonable prices. I liked Drops Air which is very light - the fibres are blown into a tube rather than spun. They also have low-cost 100% double knitting wool at £2.00, so a top could cost less than £25. That's very good.

I will keep it in mind for when I have made inroads in my stash 😁.
