This Music Producer's Nightmare Might Be Over!
What Nightmare?
Well, if you've been wondering what that weeping noise is coming from Havey HQ then allow me to enlighten you. Nearly a month ago, my music PC suffered the harrowing "blue screen of death" out of seemingly nowhere! It's never a good sign when that happens but it's even worse when the PC just doesn't even make it past the first few seconds before it asks you to re-install Windows! What made it even worse was that I didn't get a chance to do my regular back-up of the music files on there which all leads to the absolute worst nightmare ever for a music producer! Even if you aren't a music producer, I'm sure we've all felt the bloody pressure rise when we live this experience. However, I had a text today that may signify the end of the nightmare - this calls for some optimism!
Start Again
That text was from the PC repair lad and it says "the PC is all up and running again" which bolted me upright out of my chair with manic excitement and hopefully I can get to start again on my music creations! I had 4 tunes that were ready for mastering before this PC breakdown totally wrecked the plans of getting them sent off - I'm itching to get back in to it again and hoping to bring you all these beats later in the year!

OMG! My worst nkghtmare! I still have to find someone who might try to see if my dropped hard drive's content is retrievable. I am happy for you that it's sorted!

Ugh. I just realized I don't want to talk about it.
I know how you feel! That's the first stage of blue screen grief and can often last indefinitely! The only strategy I have is to just back up everything then back up the back up... The difficulty is remembering to do it!

I'm alright. Thanks for asking. It feels like that part of me that could be creative consistently at one time in my life has drained completely so even writing up a basic blog post feels like an impossibility these days. I don't mind hanging out and watching the show though. Always good to see you folks doing your thing and having fun.
I know how you feel and consistent creativity is so hard to do - these content creators and influencers/gamers/streamers who do multiple hour long live streams every day have my respect, it's really difficult to keep the momentum going! A break is always good though and the great thing about this platform is you don't always need to post a blog, you can just vote on content you like and comment away and still get some HP back.
If I wasn't having fun, I wouldn't be here and I stay away from all the drama (there's plenty of that around)! Makes life a lot easier for me!

Those taking their job seriously, all while being entertaining, definitely get my stamp of approval.
Some forms of drama can work in your favor. Diss tracks exist for a reason. Some Youtubers make all their money commenting on what others are doing, wrong. Some of my old satirical bits wouldn't exist if I wasn't getting mixed up in the mayhem at times. The environment changed though and it is a bit more chill. Some of drama I've seen lately isn't really worth doing anything that might draw more attention to it.
Lol, wow, do some people actually watch that though? That's just weird and creepy but this is the internet, I'm not surprised!
Oh yeah, definitely negative news and drama "sells" far more than any positive news but that's not my jam - life's too short and all that, would rather crack on and do things!
Had a nasty bsod doing a remix last month really put me off my stride n lost an epic intro I was working on, nice to hear you are all sorted and back to cooking bro look forward to some new releases from you soon 👊
Ah mate, that is the worst. During a track as well.... One of my releases called "Your Time Is Now", somehow got overwritten or corrupted. I was about 75% through and had to find everything again, redo the melodies... absolutely horrendous but I'd say it came back sounding better - picking up the PC later today so looking forward to firing the beast up again!
Hate it when it happens even when you now with all the cloud backup you have to be fast sometimes and not get carried away noodlin hehe
Bet you have some inspiration from the little break away from the studio and agree when I next open that project again i'm going full on with it so its gonna be epic just a shame its a remix I wanted to get it back to the producer sooner.
