Wednesday Walk Frank Knowles Little River Reserve

Wednesday Walk Frank Knowles Little River Reserve

This post if for Wednesday walk challenge And Make me Smile Collaboration challenge, initially our collaboration was once a month but due to the popularity of it we have decided to make the collab a weekly thing :)

Any questions about the challenge read the guide at the Bottom of the post ;)

For this weeks walk I an doing a way back walk again as I didn't get for for a walk waking photos this week.

I had no shared these photos as the walk was a lot shorter than I expected as I will expand on later in the post, and ended up heading somewhere else for a walk which I shared that week.

Even though it was a short walk it was so beautiful and green

Lots of greenery and ferns all around, I came by this little pool of water

there was lots of water on this trail, and fortunately they had these wooden platforms along a good part of the trail.

Then the trail opened up to this point, seeing this nice house int he trees and cool reflections on the pond.

From what I had seen online I thought the trail went further, but there were private property signs up so I didnt go any further and turned around and made my way back to my car and headed somewhere else

Weekly giveaway of shares

This week I am sending to the following who joined Wednesday Walk, for this week I did a random draw and the following each received some Hive @yecier, @lesmann, @jordy0827, @sanya83, @sofs-su

And @elizacheng will send to @wongi

As @elizacheng and I collaborated with our Wednesday Walk and Make me Smile Challenges

And one person is randomly drawn who joins both challenges to receive one Hive from me and this week it is @TBA

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.

This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines

Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.

Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.

Try and get a few shots not just one

Add a bit of a write up about where you walked

Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week

You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.

Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss

Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .

Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.

I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules

I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.

Make me Smile Collaboration

As I mentioned above Wednesday Walk is collaborating with the [Make Me Smile] hosted by @elizacheng,

Here are the rules for her challenge

Your post can be writing, singing, video, poem, drawing, photography etc.... the most important part is your post Make me" smile, Remember, the ME is whoever read/view/listen to your post and this includes YOURSELF.
b. Your content must be ORIGINAL CONTENT
c. Please include at least 50 Words in your post

I hope a few of you may find this an interesting challenge and decide to join in.

unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by myself, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me.

I LOVE walks on boardwalks in wetlands. There are some wonderful walks like this down Cape you'd probalby love to photograph in nicer weather. We used to have a place in Eastham and so the walks there were amazing, such as the Nauset Marsh trail, the fort hill trail, the red maple swamp etc. If you ever get down Cape, worth a photo visit.

Happy #wednesdaywalk and here is mine :) https://peakd.com/hive-194913/@donnadavisart/a-wednesday-walk-in-the-snowy-seaside

Haha I see I am not the only one who likes to shoot pictures of paths! Being in the moment on those paths is great and symbolic when sharing walk posts.

I have a day of technology support and may not get a walk much fancier than an hour in the dog park so we will see what I come up with.

Beautiful images, you can feel the peace and tranquility of the place. I really liked the last photo, with the view of the lake and the house in the background. Unfortunately this Wednesday I could not participate in the challenge, I am with my sick girl and that consumes me a lot of time. I hope not to miss it next Wednesday.

Beautiful short walk @tattoodjay to bad it didn’t go further and private property signs were all up.
I love the green, and great they put up the wooden boards to go over the water.
Thanks for sharing 😊👋🏻

My walk consists out of 4 walks today. With a salmon leap, falls, frosty forest and river in the highlands of Scotland:
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ”Walk in a frosty forest at the RIVER and FALLS of SHIN” ~ LAIRG, SCOTLAND 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ~ Wednesday Walk

I love the green in your photos and also the wooden platforms along the trail.

What I also found interesting is that it looks like that house you got to, has a deck as a viewpoint from where they can look out over the scenery around them. It almost made me think of a tower in a castle or in a fort.

Thank you for sharing these photos!

You can find my post for this week here.

What a beautiful place I love the trails and those dirt roads, also that wooden bridge looks so special.

That house behind the bushes looks like a small palace, I love the reflection in the water.

What great pictures, I am anxious to buy a new cell phone and have better resolution in my pictures.

I take the opportunity to leave my publication here, I know that you already pass to see it, but it is only to comply with the rules of the initiative, thank you very much, see you soon. @tattoodjay

Birds chirping is so goodtohear, and means you are alive!

I love the wooden platforms, they remind me of ones on the beach dunes over here!

I posted a castle walk with Dreemsteem Sam and Pen from when they were here

I really like this wooden platform! At first glance, the forest seems impenetrable and it would be easy to get lost.

its easy if one stays on the tracks, but if you try to go off the trail it is hard to get far

Absolutely beautiful pictures, the greenery is stunning and I love the wooden walking platform that makes getting around so easy. The person or people living in that house must love being around that pond. It's a nice place to sit and listen to the chirping of the birds while taking in deep breaths of fresh air. Nature is good therapy to the noise in the world,
Thank you so much for sharing and keep enjoying your week :}

Thanks to you and @elizacheng . I appreciate your gesture.
I was hoping to be a part of the #wednesdaywalk but that was not possible due to some constraints from my side. Hope to be there next week.

Hello @tattoodjay !

This little park with all the trees and walkways reminds me of Florida. There are also many parks like this there. Super beautiful and relaxing.
