uva uvb increasing resin production increasing your cannabis plant potency

This post is shockingly helpful information on growing cannabis there is a first time for anything. So those of you that have been following my posts about my first auto flowering plant I have ever grown know I'm an outdoor grower with limited experience with led growing. I have been discovering a lot about THC production recently see the white tip on the bud in this picture.
weed plant.jpg
The picture is bad ill have to take a better one and re post it but the light green part on the tip of the bud is concentrated THC. Something that growing outdoor and (HPS) high pressure sodium due to the uva uvb light being to low when growing without led lights.

Due to my limited space where I'm growing my plant is almost touching my led light. At first my thought was the light green white spot n the plant was fox tailing from stress or burnt. Today I had a buddy stop by and check the plant out he has more experience with growing with LED lights. He showed me this video which is very useful.

To give you the broad strokes if you rather just read my post instead. The Dutchman as he calls himself here's his channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjxS9ocS2vCzoPnrp37K3YQ
States in the video that your leds wont burn your plant no matter how close you get to them. The opposite infract you can increase your potency because the trikes don't burn like under a hps which has hid light which burns the plant the plant produces more THC and resins to try and protect it self and its offspring with its natural sunblock THC. This is due to the high uva and uvb spectrum from an led so try to get your plant as close to the led light as possible mine was inside of the light at some points its fine actually better than expected.

This also explains why lower buds decrease in potency we have always known it was decreased light causing it but now I have some potential solutions. Next plant(s) I'm going to experiment with lower supplemental lighting on the sides of the plant as well. This should cause a similar effect to all of the buds closest to the light with no stress or burning.

While my friend was imparting his cannabis knowledge I introduced him to hive and weed.cash. He grows on a larger scale and lately he has been documenting it with videos and pictures. He doesnt really have a place to post them he just does it for reference so I convinced him to start a weed.cash account. It may be a while before he has time to but ill post about his grow and him when he joins.

While many growers probably know this about leds increasing trichome production already I figured there might be some one who may benefit from this info. Check this article on leafily out to its helpful as well:
https://www.leafly.com/news/growing/white-tips-on-cannabis-buds

It explains some of what I have been discussing and this photo by: Bob Montoya photographer who works with NW Leaf is featured in the article it says more than 1,000,000 word could I may have to remove it because I couldn't get permission or a response from leafly in time to write this just note that this is Bob Montoyas photo on leafly an I'm am not taking credit for it I just couldn't find an image similar in time to write this.

Though you cant really see it in my photo with my trike scope I was able to verify it is in fact THC. I had to be moving around instead of stable because the plant is still growing so I couldn't take a photo like I usually do. The second I harvest better believe I'm posting a photo of the thc formation n the top.

Sorry weedcash if my posts get a little off the weed topic I'm working on limiting my random posts.

Yeah lots of light company's are now adding the UV spectrum of lighting. There is some interesting stuff going on with lighting these days. I also saw something where they kill powered mildew with a certain spectrum, it just may beUV.

yeah the tech is nuts how quick its advancing the video is from 2015 and his lights are so obsolete compared with modern led lights. P.S I'm delegating some of my HP to your account canna-curate.

I'm okay I can't remember what I read anyway it's not about the weed either because basically I'm not smoking very much cuz it's making me too tiredanyway so we have a grower I live in Oregon they're growers 25 mi away I don't know being on medical is all that great but but you know we don't have benefits of it but anyway yeah that's interesting there's a program called cannabiscommon Sense on YouTube that I watch for a long time but since it's legal here now I don't watch it anymore that's a good post though that's really informative

I once had a plant that did that. Dont recall it looking as pretty as that, but the information I found was it may be a Manganese defiency. The verdict is still out though.

my first thought was my plant was chemical deficient or fox tailing due to stress I checked with my endoscope i use to take the thc pictures and it looks similar to thc under magnification I wont know for sure tell I harvest and can stabilize the camera for a clearer image. My friend has more growing experience he was the one that thought that it might be thc and it looks like trikes under magnification so I'm hoping e was right convinced me this is my first grow with just leds.

thanks for your feedback
