Explaining Why Nobody Can Afford Me To Get Sick So I Decided To Quit Smoking - D00k13 Digest

What up my Peeps, welcome to the @D00k13 Digest!

Having decided to quit smoking in this video I talk a little about why nobody, including myself, can afford for me to be off work for 2 weeks. It all has to do with what will result if I am diagnosed with Covid-19, both my employer and my fiance's employer would be forced to close for 2 weeks. Those would be an interesting 2 weeks as where I work provides the cold goods for many essential service workers, such as my fiance, to then build orders with and deliver allowing all others to stay safe at home.

I wish not to downplay the seriousness of this situation even though I tend to take the conspiracy thought path on what the outcomes of all this will be. The threat is real, people could go months without income due to concerns for spread of the virus. If such virus is to be found within a place of service it must also close which would add further load to what infrastructure remains while we are all told to stay at home. A shortage of food would immediately cause unrest among the people and if you thought the TP buying panic was bad wait till news drops about supply chains for Vancouver Island getting locked down.

With all my beliefs and concerns for this situation I am still doing my part with social distancing as wish not to be the one responsible for an others death. Yet, this is not because I fear for my well being or the virus itself, I fear the results this pandemic is going to have on the global economy. I fear how many I may cause to go without income due to the government shutting down a building I may have contaminated....

I fear what rights will be taken from us in the name of our well being
