Decentralized Content Discovery Network - IAAC #72

(Edited)

Hi there and welcome to my vlog, my name is Erik Gustafsson and I go by the handle @flaxz on DTube, CTPtalk and Hive.

Decentralized Content Discovery Network

In this video I talk about the #IAmEngaged challenge from @slackerman and how it can be adjusted to a Decentralized Content Discovery Network.

Just think of how you are watching videos on YT, if you do, you get related suggestions in the sidebar, and the next video you watch will most likely come from that list.

By adding 5 posts or videos with link and description to the end of your post or video description, then you are recommending content that you find interesting and the probability that the people reading your post or watching your video will also find it interesting is quite high.

So when they have interacted with your content that is also the most likely place for them to discover more interesting content to interact with, and if everyone is doing this then we have a Decentralized Content Discovery Network.

Look at the end of this description for an example, and I have also discussed this a bit with @cruisin in the CTP Discord today, thanks for your feedback.

I Am Alive - Day 72

It is now my day 72 for the #IAmAliveChallenge, and you can read how it started and how to join in this guide, I Am Alive Challenge - The Guide.

This is all about celebrating that you are alive despite the hard times we now live in, and to share that with the world and the Hive blockchain, you are alive, and that matters.

We Are Alive!

Enjoy Watching The Video!

I did see @maddogmike doing that and I also did on #myhivegoals post with the #iamengaged together and thought that would be awesome to higlight the author and describe a bit the post, like you do as well on your This Is Awesome project!
So everyone highlights everyone! Everyone wins!
BAM!

Yes that is exactly right Eliana, and there is also a point of having it at the end of the post, you want people to read your post first, and once they have upvoted and commented it is near where they are when they want to move on to the next post, stay awesome.

As I said in a comment on another post, it would be great if this could be implemented directly in the CTPTalk code somehow... Like leofinance.io has done on their blog post pages... but with the CTP touch... :)

Yeah that could be a great thing Zoltan, especially if it can be adjusted by the users what posts are recommended, stay awesome.

Hello dear friend @flaxz How are you.

Undoubtedly this was a great idea to incorporate the links of the people with whom we interact, it is a huge promotion opportunity for other people, as you well say, if we all do it, it will be a huge promotion network. Excellent

I wish you a beautiful night

Nice to see you are steering the ship a bit on this one Erik but don't burn yourself out on taking on so much.
And don't stop posting your links in Telegram if I played any part in you not wanting to do that I am at a loss to why. I had some strange messages about it.

Thanks a lot Rob and you gave a lot of great feedback on this, and no that was actually Blain saying we should not post personal blog posts in Telegram, maybe I misread what he meant, especially since he posted the link himself just after, stay awesome.

Yes, I agree with you, this is a much better way to show your engagement. I think it's way to simple to show a user ID or just a link. Putting something about the post is much more personable and inviting, and it says you actually were at the post and read it.

Yes you got it exactly Mike, and with a personal message it gives great suggestions to your readers about the quality of what you recommend, and by putting it at the end they will see it after they have read your post, and be great positioned once they have upvoted and left a comment, stay awesome.
