Hi there and welcome to my vlog my name is Erik Gustafsson and I go by the handle @flaxz on CTPtalk, DTube and Hive, and today I talk about DTube On Hive.

DTube Has Now Integrated Hive

So yesterday DTube made a post about an update they made to integrate Hive, and that is now live on DTube, read their announcement here, DTube is now compatible with Hive Blockchain.

You login with your DTube account and with your Hive account to post your video to Hive, and I assume that you just skip logging in to Steem to not post there.

This is the first DTube video I post on Hive so we will see how this goes after it's been published.

CTPtube???

So @blainjones suggested a CTube yesterday in the CTP Telegram, presumably joking, but I think it's a great idea.

It's also very easy to do since the DTube frontend is open source, and you just clone the DTube Github repo, add some branding and a domain name, and let DTube continue to handle the backend.

They also made a guide for how to do this that you can see here, Steem-Engine tokens + DTube = ScotTube.

So @jongolson and @blainjones, maybe something to consider?
