Two Sheep at the Mall | 121st IAAC
Finally, it's Saturday! I did something different today. For lunch, I met with my daughter at the neighborhood mall. I have not really been to the mall, except when I did the grocery run in the past. Since I was back to work, my daughter has done the grocery run. It's been a while since I have gone around the mall. Do watch the video, so you'll have an idea of what's it like to be here. It was a strange experience, but I did try to just have fun. Besides, lunch was yummy. LOL!
My video from yesterday finally got posted on Hive via @dtube. I have yet to successfully upload directly to it. For now, I upload through my YT link. YT works fine. It just takes time to upload. I can't complain as it also sends my video to LBRY channel @iamraincrystal. Tonight, I will have a bit more time to tinker around and see if I could upload directly to @dtube.
All righty, my weekend begins tonight. I better get this done fast. Got chores to catch up with. I'll see you for tomorrow's late night Sunday video. Ta-tah!

Hi @iamraincrystal, I liked your post, although the video was a bit long for my attention span. I skipped through it, but never saw any sheep? ha ha ha, unless you and your daughter were the sheep? ha ha ha.
I've taken to using Vimeo to upload my videos, it is still a public post, but nowhere NEAR as widely viewed as YT
I have LBRY, but so far have not used it

Yeah most folks here are sheep. I'm not too fond of the face shields being required to enter certain buildings, my work place included. Even the malls require them now. Not too comfy walking around donning them on. I'd rather stay away. It's sad a lot of folks still couldn't get back to work though.

Good morning @iamraincrystal, thank god they haven't mandated face shields except for health care workers. However, I DO notice a decrease in my airflow with any mask I've used so far.
A lot of people tend to "pooh pooh" when people say "I can't breath with a face mask", but... I have COPD, so anything that reduces the flow of air into my lungs is a detriment to my health.
The thing about Vimeo is, unless you pay for an account with other features and more storage, there is a weekly limit (for the free account) to how much you can upload.
I believe your limit on the free account is 5 MB per week, anything over will not go through
Unless you are uploading videos that are huge file sizes or last a very long time every day or so, the free account is just fine, BUT when you upload with the free account, your video goes into a queue, in line behind others that are trying to upload also.
So far I've never had to wait more than a few minutes.
I love you so much, girl! You are so spot on. As frustrating as the world conditions are, we have to remember this was all a planned move by the governments & other hidden figures. It's crazy how some sheep out there feel it's their job to enforce these crazy protocols. And you say revolution.....you know how I feel about that. Fear is no way to live so I tend to break a few rules sometimes. ;) But most of all, as you say, keep educating others, live our truth & plant the seeds along the way. Awakening happens in stages....one person can cause someone else to awaken in just being themselves & not living in fear. Vaccinations are just another way for them to track us all, so remember that ;) But I digress....
Yes, always take care of yourself. Lately, I have been feeling the beginning of burning out so I am taking a step back this weekend to rest & reset so I am ready for this coming week, especially for hosting #hivechat on Tuesday. Whewwww.....
I completely get about wanting to use decentralized systems more than the main ones. While I do have a good subscriber base on YouTube, I am more excited to use the other platforms & have noticed I get a lot better ROI with @threespeak & LBRY. :)

Oh boy, days come and go too fast. I feel caught up in the daily hustle & bustle too. Sometimes, I feel like taking a longer break. One day off a week is not enough, esp with chores also waiting to be done.
@threespeak still doesn't work for me. I couldn't upload directly to @dtube. So YT is it for now.

Thanks so much, girl! I appreciate that. #hivechat will be fun. After Tues, though I am DEFINITELY taking a short break. Been dealing with some stress issues so it's time to take a breather for a few days lol. I hope you get some extra time as well. We all need that occasionally. :)

Oh boy, talks of a break remind me of what we miss lately.. The freedom to travel and explore even local places. 😒😒😒 sigh so I try what I could do every day. Just make it fun 😂🤣 seriously though, I could use some real breaks.
Yeah, video upload is the challenge as of late. Someone suggested trying Vimeo. I think I have an account there. Haven't used it in a while. My LBRY is linked with YT, so if I use that, it's like two in one. 😁😁 How I wish Hive video platforms are more stable.

hehehehe... I had to call my son and wife to watch the part from the shopping mall that you have done... We have to wear masks (everywhere, on the street, nature, even if there are no people around... lol... crazy...), but we don't have those face shields things... yet... So, I suppose that our great Spanish government will probably do that very soon... (hope not)

The use of face shields is a bit over the top, considering the government has not made much effort to control the supposed virus spread. If they are, they're not doing such a good job. Oh well! The public always suffers from government incompetence.
Ha ha I laugh at that quotable quote. There are some rules that need to be broken for survival's sake.

So many people with face shields - here in Belgium we all wear masks only a few wear face shields :o
good for you. I just put it on when entering shops as they have mandated it. Otherwise, I walk without the face shield. 😉👍🏼
