You have given nice examples of "standard" excuses... lol... I have no patience to listen to people when they make up those things...

usually, just stop them, you didn't come/done/finished something... ok... move forward and don't even bother to "tell your excuse story", as we both know that there is no sense for doing that... just a waste of more time... lol...
