I agree with you. Most of the energy sources have downsides and I don't know which is the correct route. Personally I am thinking nuclear energy to be a good alternative to renewable energy lately.

I couldn't agree more. Despite people debates on nuclear, it is still a good option for us to meet the energy demand and curve climate changes; hence renewable can't full meet the demands.
