Ella es Goodina, la mayor de mis tres 🐶🐶🐶 peludas. Llegó a mí cuando tenía un mes de edad. Desde pequeña fue muy activa, antes de cumplir el primer año notaba que le costaba socializar con otros perros por eso no dudé cuando tuve la oportunidad de rescatar a Lotta la segunda de mi pequeña manada. Siempre pensé que a Goodi le vendría genial una hermana.

This is Goodina, the oldest of my three 🐶🐶🐶🐶 furries. She came to me when she was one month old. Since she was little she was very active, before she was one year old I noticed that she had a hard time socializing with other dogs that's why I didn't hesitate when I had the opportunity to rescue Lotta the second of my little pack. I always thought that Goodi could use a sister.

Al principio con supervisión todo marchó bien, al tiempo ocurrió la primera pelea 😭😭 fue horrible primera vez que veía algo así no sabía qué hacer, creo que con la ayuda de mi hermano logramos separarlas.

At the beginning with supervision everything went well, after a while the first fight happened 😭😭 it was horrible first time I saw something like that I didn't know what to do, I think that with the help of my brother we managed to separate them.

En ese momento decidí hacer algo porque no quería que volviera a ocurrir. Converse con varios veterinarios y estuve buscando información y todo apuntaba a la esterilización. Realmente nunca he tenido intensión de que tuvieran cachorros por lo que pedí presupuesto para la esterilización de Goodi, el costo resultó elevado. Sin embargo gracias a una amiga que es la madrina de mis peludas ☺️ consiguió la esterilización de Goodi con la Red de Apoyo Canino 💕 Son los mejores valga la cuña.

At that moment I decided to do something because I didn't want it to happen again. I talked to several veterinarians and I was looking for information and everything pointed to sterilization. I never really intended for them to have puppies, so I asked for an estimate for Goodi's sterilization, the cost was high. However thanks to a friend who is the godmother of my furry ☺️ she got Goodi spayed with the Canine Support Network 💕 They are the best.

Para la operación me indicaron que Goodi debía estar en ayuno, al menos 12 horas sin consumir comida ni agua. Esto es porque al colocarle la anestesia si han ingerido comida o agua pueden vomitar.

For the surgery I was instructed that Goodi had to be fasting, at least 12 hours without consuming food or water. This is because when putting him under anesthesia if they have ingested food or water they may vomit.

El procedimiento es rápido, yo estaba nerviosa para mí fue eterno sin embargo en 30 minutos ya estaba lista. Recuerdo que la enfermera salió se la llevó y no la ví más hasta que me llamaron para entregarla. Estaba sedada aún, pesaba mucho no podíamos con ella 😨 como pudimos la montamos al carro y nos fuimos a la casa.

The procedure is fast, I was nervous, for me it took forever but in 30 minutes she was ready. I remember the nurse came out and took her away and I didn't see her again until they called me to deliver her. She was still sedated, she weighed so much we could not handle her 😨 as we could we put her in the car and went to the house.

Las indicaciones de la doctora fueron:

No suministrar ningún analgésico, ella explicó que si no sentían dolor iban a caminar mucho y peor aún a saltar. Que debían estar en reposo al menos las primeras 24 horas.
Al despertar ofrecer un poco de agua, y que la comida que se le ofreciera fuese líquida ya que venían de un ayuno prolongado.
Se le suministró antibiótico por unos días.
Se le debía aplicar agua oxigenada sobre la herida. La herida fue por un costado cerca del muslo trasero aprox 4cm era pequeña.
Sugirió que por esa noche durmiera dentro de la casa para que el frío no les molestara ya que no se les suministrarian analgésicos.
A los cinco días debía ir al retiro de los puntos.

The doctor's instructions were:

Antibiotics were given for a few days. - Oxygenated water was to be applied on the wound. The wound was on the side near the back thigh, about 4cm, it was small.

He suggested that for that night she should sleep inside the house so that the cold would not bother them since they would not be given painkillers.

After five days I was to go for stitch removal.

La faja puedes hacerla en casa
Necesitarás
° Franela que no uses
° Tijeras

Extiende la franela y por el centro realiza un corte.
Mide el largo de tu perro, desde el cuello hasta su cola.
Mide el Acho para ubicar las 4 patas sobre la tela.
En los bordes de la franela vas a cortar tiritas las cuales te ayudarán a sujetarla.

Realmente es sencillo hacerla

The girdle can be made at home You will need
° Unused flannel
° Scissors

Spread out the flannel and make a cut in the middle.

Measure the length of your dog, from the neck to its tail.

En mi caso no disminuyó la agresividad para nada 😭 Goodi mantiene su temperamento, tampoco maduró ella sigue con la mente de cachorro 100% activa corre y brinca como siempre. No ha aumentado de peso y su instinto de cazadora lo mantiene igualito.

In my case the aggressiveness did not decrease at all 😭 Goodi keeps her temperament, she is not mature either, she still has the mind of a puppy 100% active, she runs and jumps as always. She has not gained weight and her hunting instinct remains the same.
