Another dose of taxes on Dcity, hurting the game's economy. (Eng/Esp)

The new president in @dcitygame applied a new dose of taxes to us, although this is more aggressive than the previous one, in my village there is no income left even for the beans hahaha.

The worst thing about this whole round of taxes after taxes is that they have not helped the price of the SIN token at all, on the contrary the price continues to plummet.

According to the defenders of such taxes, they are applying strategies to raise the price of the token, but I think they are not able to get the ball rolling with their strategy and what they do is screw it up more.

They are like a bad government that wants foreign investment to come to their country, but they maintain high taxes that alienate anyone who wants to invest.

There is also the war tax that, as I said before, does not help at all to control the supply of the token, but rather takes a percentage of income from all accounts, to deliver it to those who have the power to accumulate military complexes, being the most affected users with smaller cities without the ability to buy such complexes.

So we have to look for other alternatives, because we cannot expect different results if we apply the same strategies.

If the current president does not change his strategy and things continue on the same path. We will have to support our friend @trumpman in the next elections, to see if with the flexibility of taxes things will improve a little. Here is an article about his proposal.

My income just skyrocketed not long ago because the new President dropped most taxes, and even brought the basic tax all the way down to 1%. This will make people happy in the short term, I guess... but I've been trying to figure out what other deflationary mechanisms there are to try and get the price down. Everyone complains about taxes, but is there another way to reduce the amount of SIM being minted on a daily basis-- or a way to burn SIM tokens on a regular basis?

Before my publication I had not downloaded them yet. I think the pressure from everyone involved had its effect. And you are right, you have to find ways to burn the token or that it can be spent on something else to give it another use and thus have more demand.

It is still fake news, even if unintentional.

It cannot be false when at the time I published it the taxes were 83%, there is the screenshot I took at that time.

The less tax will mean more SIM in circulation, but the key is more cards can be purchase which will grow all dcities if players continue to reinvest. Those that sell will continue to drop SIM price to Hive but realize buy in for new players will be much lower and the purchasing of cards with SIM increases with those who continue to reinvest. Clearly I see lower taxes benefiting the game in the long run rather than higher taxes. Just my take.

I think that taxes would not be used as much, if other use cases are found for the token, where a percentage of it can be collected and burned.

The current Dcity president is not the Dcity candidate I voted for.😁
