Invest for free on Hive

My start on Steem was rough. My account did not have enough upvote power to earn from upvoting other posts, my blogs did not get noticed and no matter how many comments I made to other peoples posts. They did not upvote my comments.

So I almost gave up on Steem. But right around that time a couple things happened in short succession.

1. I won a contest that gave me a steem delegation. This delegation doubled my SP from 20 to 40, which meant that all of a sudden my upvote was worth something. 0,001 STU to be exact. So rewards from curation were starting to come in.
2. Then Steem-engine was started and very quickly I started earning other tokens as well. I started trading some that I didn’t like for others that I did like, which for the first time on Steem started to make me feel a bit like an investor.
3. This was also the time I started using the @actifit app to log my activity from the day and the fact that you get upvotes for using the app is just mindblowing. Strava would never pay you to use their app.

Over the last few weeks I was pondering what I could do for the community on Hive. Do my part in its growth to maturity. I have decided that this investor mentality towards growing your account holdings on Steem/Hive(-engine) is something that I can share.

I managed to grow my account from $10 to about $225 in a bit more than a year and I would love to help you do the same. A big chunk of it has been the Steem/Hive hardfork obviously, I also got about $45 from Coinbase Earn and the Hive and Steem prices going up have a lot to do with it.

But you are not too late to start right now. This is still early beginnings for Hive, so you can become an investor too. And like me you will not have to put your own money in it to make it work. You can do this for Free.
