Just another day in the Crypto-market

Plenty of good news in here, and the crypto world is brighter than ever.

  • ETH broke above $700 and Bitcoin surpassed 28k, but they went under a slight correction lately. We are also looking at an algorithmic stablecoin (DSD) going as low as 0.27, and now recovering up to $0.46, even if it is pegged for $1.
  • Ripple's XRP is freefalling, with Bitstamp, B2C2, and even Coinbase stopping its trading.
  • On Christmas, 1inch started to airdrop their governance token to the early adopters. If you traded more than $20 in 4 or more trades on 1inch, before 15th of September, go and get your airdrop reward. It is not fixed like Uniswap, so you may get more than that (one user got 9.7 million tokens).
  • Few days ago, the DEFI insurance project COVER was hacked, and in a strange twist of events, another DEFI protocol called GRAP was deemed responsible. The hack used a bug to mint infinite tokens, and claimed 5 million dollars. But Yesterday sent all the ETH back to Cover. One question remains: Who is insuring the insurers?
  • In a move to appeal to institutional investors, Binance introduced a series of simpler options contracts, known as 'European style Vanilla Bitcoin Options'. They may be simpler, but they got quite a complex name. Basically this will let you to issue your own contracts, and buy BTC at an agreed-upon price when the contract expire.
  • Singapore-based lending platform Vauld is planning to open a crypto bank in India. They want to offer over the counter transactions, debit and credit cards.
  • BlackRock Investment group is looking for awesome experts to get the job named VicePresident and Blockchain Lead in New York office. If you are good enough, go and get it.

See you next year, healthier and richer than today!
