You have read the The Little Prince? The french author, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry has done the following statement:
As for the future, your task is not to foresee it, but to make it possible.

I think that's not really correct... you can't make something possible if you don't have an idea of it. So I would change the saying into:

As for the future, your task is not just to foresee it, but also to make it possible.
