Introducing SPI Royalty Rewards

This incentive has been on the back burner for a while and now is a good time to launch it as the fund has continuously grown to the point where funding this incentive can be done without any impact on future growth. This incentive will be funded by earnings from defi holdings only.

There are 4 tiers to Royalty Rewards ranging from Aces to Jacks depending on the amount of SPIs held. Any SPI investor holding more than 250 tokens will benefit from Royalty Rewards with a weekly Royal Lotto and quarterly token airdrops being the minimum rewards all the way up to SPI and HIVE branded merch and custom yearly P/L reports.

SPI is over 3 years old now and we've been growing and rewarding as and when we can. We held back on issuing dividends for 14-16 months which helped to maximize growth within the first year. By the time we started to issue weekly dividends, fund growth was not dependent on HIVE earnings and we could spare it. Fast forward 18-20 months and today our non-HIVE earnings are enough to fund this new incentive while still being able to continue to grow at its current pace. This might change in the future but I can't see us not being able to fund this with $500-$1000 per year from harvests.

Soon, im waiting on receiving stuff in the post. I will announce a snapshot date soon. I'd like to have this launched by the end of the month.

SPI Royalty Deck

ACEs are for those that manage accounts or wallets and hold active keys for SPI. We currently only have 4 people that we receive this. The benefits to be honest are the same as KINGs but ACEs receive extra merch. This card goes to God-tier SPI Royalty.

If you hold 1000 or more SPI tokens, you are an SPI KING and will be very happy to receive a yearly merch package in the post and get a personalised SPI holdings PL report at the end of each SPI year. On top of that, KINGs receive the highest cut of airdrops and 3 lotto tickets each week.

Holding between 500 and 999 SPI token will make to an SPI QUEEN. You will receive digital rewards from time to time. These can be HE tokens, non-HIVE cryptos, NFTS, etc. QUEENs also receive the middle cut of airdrops and 2 lotto tickets per week.

JACKS is the first tier and holding between 250 and 499 SPI tokens will give you access to a free weekly lotto ticket and airdrop every 3 months.

Rewards Table

Branded Merch - These will include things like SPI or HIVE mugs, magnets, stickers, pens, etc. All general stuff that is easy to add a logo too. These yearly merch packs will be limited to 25 per year because I dont think we'll need more than that and limiting helps with budgeting. Each pack's cost price will be between $20-30 excluding shipping.

Yearly PL Report - These will be detailed yearly reports showing your incoming and outgoings of SPI, growth from year start to year-end and lots of cool stats. Sadly, we are 13 weeks into the current year and tracking will start at the start of SPIs year 4 but something to look forward to all the same.

Digital Rewards - Digital rewards will be random events and can include everything that can be transferred digitally such as HE tokens including tokens under SPinvest, NFTs, new SPI project airdrops and non-HIVE cryptos.

Pre-pre Sales on SPinvest Projects This is a whitelist of investors that will be given 24-72 hours of early access, and presale to new projects being launched under SPinvest at a small discount.

Quarterly Airdrops Every 13 weeks, SPI will do an airdrop of tokens to SPI investors that are JACK tier or better. These airdrops will range in value between 300-800 HIVE and include tokens such as SPI, EDS, EDSM, EDSMM, LBI, CL, HIVE and LEO.

Weekly Royal Lotto Each week, SPI tokens holders that are JACK tier are higher will receive lotto tickets. Each ticket consists of 3 numbers between 01 and 99 with winners needing to match 2 or 3 numbers. Matching 2 numbers will pay out 5% of the total lotto pool, matching 3 numbers will pay out 90% of the lotto pool.

The Royal Lotto pool will be funded with roughly 30-50 HIVE each week by converting BUSD into HIVE and adding it to the lotto pool. This is a rollover lotto with the Jackpot growing over time so it'll not be easy to win. The odds of matching 2 numbers at 545-1 and over 150k-1 to match 3 and win the Jackpot.

The goal here will be to grow this into 4 figures giving out prizes for matching 2 numbers at over 50 HIVE and a Jackpot of at least 1000 HIVE and then monetize it by selling tickets to the public. Free tickets will still be issued forever but if the Jackpot can be 2500 HIVE, I think people would pay 1 HIVE for a chance are 10 HIVE or 10 chances at 100% profits to SPI. How fast it grows really depends on the BUSD/HIVE ratio and any plans to sell tickets would be 24-36 months out.

Why do this?

Sheet, why not? It's not going to cost that much money and it's a nice addition, it'll drive engagement and might even encourage a few new people to take notice of SPI and existing investors might buy a few SPIs to get to the next tier. My idea has always been to try and promote SPI tokens as something you invest in the same way as you would into BTC, SP 500, GOLD, etc. This is means, you dont buy $5 worth of stock or gold, you buy $100 and continually add to it to grow a large holding. Royalty rewards add an extra incentive to grow and hold SPI tokens long-term. And lastly, it's not that much extra work for me.
