Yeah, that meme could possibly be seen as an example of how to lie with statistics. In a pie chart, People Who Died During WW2 would be a little sliver compared to People Who Didn’t Die During WW2.

Politics:
Why GOP Voter Suppression Efforts May Backfire
You might assume that Georgia Republicans have absorbed such negative information, balanced it, and coldly calculated that the trade is worth it: They may lose some of their older, poorer, or sicker rural voters, but if they can thwart a larger number of Black or young voters, they will emerge ahead.
But in the Trump and post-Trump era, local Republican power holders have again and again demonstrated that they are not good risk assessors. They refuse to acknowledge awkward truths. They believe their own inflammatory propaganda. The result is that they make self-harming decisions based on inaccurate information.

Want to point out the lopsided cases in Covid chart. I think of it as a positive with that chart because it did not spread to the entire population, But do not get me wrong, I am in no way defending how USA reacted to the outbreak. There are things the country is doing that is down right breaking the rights this country stands for. Deeply disturbed by some of these things.
Imagine the amount of infected there would if not for the sane and careful folk swearing masks and distancing! Just proves even humanity can stupid their way through this as long as big pharma's production/progress doesn't get outpaced by virus evolution
