I knew this would be tough.....

Trying to get Aurora Traffic and Click Roads active again is an adventure to say the least. I try to get feedback on what members would like to see added, removed or changed and I get nothing. I make changes and then send out emails letting them know what I've done and nothing.

This confuses me because surfers talk about these things in chat, but when they have the opportunity to directly influence, or even help create change, they drop the ball. I send emails with an email address to directly engage with me and they don't take that opportunity. I WANT and need to know what my members would like.

Now I'm wondering what I should do, keep doing things quietly behind the scenes? Should I keep trying to communicate as I'm working on making improvements? Should I send emails left and right until someone responds? I have no idea at this point, but I do want interaction.

Any input from non members at this point is welcome.

We who are surfing there need to keep promoting. Once people see that there is activity there again, things should pick up.

Keep being in front of people. Remember, even though a majority may never voice their opinion, they are watching...Keep doing what you do, and regardless of whether or not the membership responds, there will be action....Someone will give you feedback :)

In my humble opinion (we) people are tired of so many people trying to get feedback via email. I’ve just unsuscribed from a lot of sites lately due to this. I got no time for all the stuff and don’t wanna my inbox full of such mails...
I think a more direct system must be used. When people go to the main site they must have the opportunity to leave their feedback or comments , something like a “suggestions box” but in a non agressive way (no modals) but visible and attractive.
It’s only my opinion ofc.
Hugs n’love ❤️

Oh draker, lol.

I think this is part of why things don't always go as needed. I could understand if it's something you won't be going back to, but if it's some place you visit regularly and can think of something that you'd like to see happen or change, why wouldn't you take the opportunity to give your input when it's so easy to do?

Cos this world is crazy, people are always in a hurry and thinking of something else more inportant. Whe are also lazy in general when talking about feedback...
People will take shots of cats , food and will publish them onto the blockchain but they won't vote to witnesess or take 20 seconds to publish a YouTube music video link 😂 😂

You are doing great work @kirkoliver, and in my opinion if the members wants to talk in the chat, talk in the chat, it's an added bonus to have a completely open discussion, that builds trust and your brand, all good things you need for a successful business, keep it up and stay awesome.

As a member, the work you are doing is awesome. You are turning these sites around. I know for a fact that I don't always have the time to read emails (got 5K) in TE mail alone.

Suggestion: if the members are in chat talking, then go to where they are. I've seen owners/admins place chat messages there letting members know about certain things happening at the site. Next direct them to go check out whatever you want them to know. I've responded to a lot of messages like that while surfing a site. If you got a new splash or banner or updated something, then see if you can post a mini version there and direct them to go see the full size item.

In the alternative, ask for comments to the item you post in chat. Give an incentive, i.e. small number of credits to whoever respond with a thumbs up/down or give feedback on the item within a certain time frame. That way, members will have something else to see and think about other than another member's menu for dinner, lol.
